Well, tips from my experience: 1) Don't always be nice/rude with them. Try to balance without being offensive, think before you talk and speak. 2) Don't reply quickly. 3) Don't update her with what you doing constantly. add some ambiguity. 4) If you wanna compliment, do it once in a while like once or twice a week. 5) Keep it short and dont write stories.

Well, tips from my experience... 1)dont think before you talk- let it flow, it will make your speech more fluent and less scripted, whatever you slip you can fix. The tone and mood of the conversation is much more important than the exact words. What is important is to create the atmosphere where is freedom of expression. 2)Always reply as quick as its convenient for you, the quicker you reply the more likely she is to reply quickly as well, the more progress you can make in the smaller amount of time the better, that forms a habit of intensive communication and further steps become more natural. 3)Always update about what you are doing, she will be invested in your life and will ask about it later, it makes future communication easier. 4)If she is worthy of compliment ... compliment her. Girls love to be rewarded by encouragements, thats the way to let her know. 5)Dont keep it short, It makes her feel more comfortable and provides more substance and the conversation is less generic. Would you enjoy reading a story from her?, yeah probably you would. So why do you think it should be different for her?. If you are secretive and ambiguous she wont trust you and wont open up herself, it will prolong the conversation and it will lose the momentum.

Story time: my sister was in her teens and was playing truth or dare at the pool. She dared a girl to go up to the lifeguard and told him he glistens like a Greek god...Jose right girls respond to that. (And I can confirm that lifeguard was a 10.)
