That's a pretty cool and interesting video, congrats! I just wanted to correct you on some things: Venti in Italian means also Winds (it depends on how you stress the e) and I think it's neat since Venti is the Archon of Anemo, so of Wind. Also venti with meaning "twenty" is a word that has been around for a looong time (1300 I think) ahahah I'm looking forward to your next videos ^^

There is also the Latin word "ventus" which translates to wind. It could really be from Latin or Italian, especially because Latin is the root language of Italian.

It's also a word in Latin. More specifically, Venti are the roman equivalent of the Anemoi (and as an extra fun fact, one of these winds' roman name is Favonius)

One more thing: Venti apparently knows the adepti from Liyue and drops by their teapot realms from time to time, which is how Madame Ping knows the design of Mondstadt housing if you choose Cool Isle or Mountain Peak as your realm layout. Made you wonder what exactly is an adepti and the difference between them and other archons.

Actually, the correct translation for the Roman word Venti would also be "winds", so this connection works without mythology.

I think that a more likely explanation of the name Venti is that it means "wind" in Latin. That's where words like "ventilation" and "vent" come from.

The knights, specifically jean is the lion, vanessa started the eagles (dilucmight be the current eagle knight), the lupical knight (razor might be the next lupical knight, hence why lisa took him under her teachings) is the wolf, and dvalin had always been the dragon. We know that vanessa is the first to be known as the eagle, so the four winds might have been declared after vanessa's story.

Hey, little detail. The first people venti interacts with is the Gunnhildr clan and it is their faith that's gives venti his powers or atleats the initial taste of it. The Gunnhildr clan also fought against Decarabian. And it all connects in a nice when we realise that the the first people to worship Venti are also the current leaders of his church. P.S. I hope this doesnt sound condescending or anything, if it did, I didn't mean it to.

I like to think Venti has his allergies from copying the body of the Nameless Bard, especially that he was a fairy that knows no better about being human. Regardless, he kept it for some reason we don't know. Also, with the recent Golden Archipelago, we see some part of Pylos Peak as islands. In which part are from I'm not sure, but the fact that Dvalin takes a while getting there flying, gives a terrifying idea of how a mountain got that far from winds alone.

Corection : Decarabian was never an Archon. Archon wasn’t a thing at that time. Leonard didn’t die at Pilos Peak, he was failed to climb Pilos Peak, and knowing his limit he gave up and did a research instead, made an invention that Teyvat now know as Wind Glider and passed on his dream to the future generation. (But well, Venti happened, Pilos Peak has no peak no more).

I dont think Leonard died climbing the mountain, he survived and had to give up, he went on to invent the first wind glinders in teyvat.

When Barbatos left Mondstadt, the Lawrence Clan and the Imunlaukr Clan joined Mondstadt. The leader of the Lawrence Clan, Venerare, built a tall statue of Barbatos in the middle of the plaza. In the base of the statue, there was an incryption of an oath, pledging to forever defend and protect the freedom of Mondstadt. However, as years go by, the change in leadership of the Lawrence Clan drove the clan straight into tyranny and corruption. The clan however was also growing in power. They became the main players of Mondstadt politics and many clans supported the Lawrence Clan. One clan stood against the aristocracy, it was the same clan who stood against Decarabian before the rebellion, Gunnhildr Clan. After that, the events of the manga took place.

Also Zhongli prefers the taste of Dandelion wine compared to the Snake wine of Sumeru. Since you mentioned Haikyuu~ My friend BMO is planning to do a Haikyu team in genshin since theirs 9 VAs present although the last one was Dvalin so he doesn't count. He needs one more to complete the team for spiral abyss.

@@KlemenTime the voice actor present is, Hinata is Venti, Sakusa is Kaeya, Yamaguchi is Chongyun, Tsukishima is Razor, Akaashi is Bennette, Bokuto is Childe, Shinsuke is Albedo. The other two is Zhongli is a side character that taught Yamaguchi to serve, and Dvalin is a player from Nekoma. Shinsuke and Albedo have one thing in common is they have the same cold gaze. So close! We need Miyano Mamoru to have Atsumu and then we have the Black Jackals! Oops, thats a bit of spoilers. My bad.

I think the reason why he's named Venti is because he's based on Anemoi-Greek Gods of the Winds. The Anemoi were the gods of the four winds--namely Boreas the North-Wind, Zephryos (Zephyrus) the West, Notos (Notus) the South, and Euros (Eurus) the East. Each of these was associated with a season--Boreas was the cold breath of winter, Zephyros the god of spring breezes, and Notos the god of summer rain-storms. And the Roman name for them is Venti. Sounds familiar?

wait. AFAIK, Pilos peak wasn't the cause of leonard's death. He was simply can never reach it's peak and retired. In his days of retirement, he designed what is now known as the glider to help other adventurers to venture into places that he once can never reach.

i want to say something, i found this video late so you won't see it but, venti's name is actually supposed to be wendi, if u listen to other dubs u can hear it slowly turning into the name venti which is what happened. he was based of wendy from honkai impact, their names have same chinese pronounciation. it just got lost in translation, but other theories make sense too! sorry for my bad grammar

Wow, that good to hear this video. There something need to ask. Does mean Venti identity is hidden duke of Hell you mentioned Barbatos not part of demon but name of Demon? What about Characters received Anemo vision like Sucrose, Jean and Xiao? For Amos's Bow, is that referring from Gacha banner obtainable 5 star weapon whom used by Fischl and Ganyu? While Venti don't use it? For Boreas, the Norrh wind. What about Tsaritsa the Cyro Archon? Isn't that same Ice power? If Venti is so powerful wind manipulate, then how Fatui let's him knocked down and La Singola freeze Venti's legs and stole chess piece?

@IG VIPER YT if Tsaritsa is God of Love, then why Fatui stole Holy Lyre before Traveler take it for help curse Dvalin controlled by Abyss Mages and characters attacked Fatui? Human organization hidden corruption activities show bright public and hidden violence action like Childe. Unlike call Spies, Cold has corrupt than pure. Love hidden murder. That's how present Tsaritsa decision manner. If Venti understand Tsaritsa decision, why not just Venti telepathy to communicate Tsaritsa choice or mannerism? Isn't that Cold-hearted behavior? Travelers siblings are kinda like Alien Invaders to me than Yggdrasil. Unlike those Characters released CRYO vision like Ganyu, Ayaka, Eula, DIONA and Rosaria.

The archons that we have met don't necessarily hate being called 'barbatos' or 'morax'; for example, the church of favonius sisters praise venti by the name 'barbatos' and it's also what a lot of mondstadt people call him. in zhongli's quest, the worshipper of the god of salt referred to him as 'morax' but it's not implied that he doesn't like it, it was just implied that it's unconventional to be called 'morax'. canonically, there's also no implication that the names of archons are known as 'demon names' :D

I think Amus did that to first Mondstadt to protect the people from the upcoming war.
