Hi Sophie, I have stumbled across your channel at a struggling time at my career and spending habit. I started a hard job which requires me to work 50 hours plus. In turn, I turned to luxury bags or jewelries to make myself feel better… This viscous cycle has made me upset and sad in general. Last month marks one year anniversary at my job and I think I’m further away from financial independence I always wanted, or just simple happiness because I felt trapped. I admire and am inspired by your low spend target, slow living and minimalism. From today I will change my mindset and follow this life style. Want to say thank you for all your videos and show up in my life at this moment.

Portugal looks so beautiful and relaxing! You make an excellent point about enjoying physical activity and being consistent with it. That's where a lot of us create unnecessary stress for ourselves...pushing ourselves to do workouts and activities we dread. Aligning ourselves with what we naturally enjoy and is sustainable is a smart move all around. Appreciate you sharing Sophie!

Glad to see you again Sophie! I'm proud to call myself an "old school" too~ making to-do lists, jotting down some notes or even doodling is always a pen/pencil and paper to me because I like them tangible and I think the intentions of writing something down are more authentic. Being inactive on FB for 6 months has been a great change in my life because I feel more peaceful and present. Simplified ways of living is such a luxury nowadays unlike 25 years ago. The irony of life indeed. Thank you for this and will continue to support 🥰

I think the best thing about living a simple life is that it is always more peaceful even though mundane & boring. Hi - I am an accountant and I found out that you can simplify your finances by setting one date to pay all your bills. This means calling your supplier or provider to change the due dates of your subscriptions so everything will be within the same week you plan to pay all your bills. It works for me so well. Now, I don't stressed out about due dates.

Since I live in the capital and wanting to consistently connect my soul to nature or anything Earthy, I walk to the farmer's market & the nearby green spaces.
