For finer haired people would you recommend ditching rinse out conditioner for leave in conditioner? I'll sometimes do that if I need to shower but also don't feel like spending that much time in the shower. I would like to add to look for shampoo that is specific to your scalp (skin) needs because if you have oily skin you'll likely have an oily scalp. As for conditioner you don't want to avoid silicones since they form a film around your hair to protect it, so if your hair which is dead has separate needs from your scalp that's NORMAL.

My biggest struggle; removing tangles, retaining moisture, and maintaining definition in better formed clumps or beachy spirals. Also, drying time takes forever, even with a diffuser, but I live in a hot humid climate. My hair is almost identical to yours. It is a 2b mixed with 2c. I just bought a really great brush from Cantu- the washday rubber grip one. Only one flaw; it can slide right out of the base😩 But it actually works better than the wet brush so far. I prefer to dry-detangle prior to conditioning and washing🤷🏻‍♀️ My hair likes coconut milk and mango butter. Also avocado oil. But no heavy shea butters. I've been working on my relationship with my wavy hair for about a year and a half. I've tried a lot of drugstore products. It certainly adds up. The best thing we can do is not have expectations in complete comparison to the KZfaqrs who have more experience. I just hope I'll get there one day. Oh, and guess what, the moment I find a product that works perfectly, it gets discontinued 😒 What are your thoughts on Curlsmith or Rizos Curls, if I decide to upgrade? Thanks 💜💙🧜🏻‍♀️
