🤝Thank you for making this credit building video! In the past, I was subscribed to Self's $48 per month plan. Currently, I have Kikoff Credit with a $2,500 limit. Last year, I had the $500 line.👍👍But the very first time I signed up for Kikoff, $1/mth was paid for 12 months, which was reported to all 3 credit bureaus. I also had Credit Strong...

Please clarify what you mean by AU will stay on for 90 days. I think they stay on for 7/10 yrs. On time pmnts only report for the months you are on the AU.
@ajksancarlos
@ajksancarlos Жыл бұрын
I believe he is talking about paying for an outside company to add an AU to your file, of a person you don't know, those companies have AU's that are usually removed after 90 days.

Yes an au can be on there for longer but it depends on the card issuers also those that stay will still show as a closed account

I have 759 credit score with a thin file only one cc; Would adding 3-4 installment loans and another cc or 2 be a good move to make?
@WalletMonkeys
@WalletMonkeys 11 ай бұрын
idk about 3-4 installments but 1-2 will help for sure. Also a few more CCs yes, 7-10 tradelines reporting is a good rule of thumb

I was added on 3 of my parents cards that were established for 4+ years when I turned 18, my credit is still hovering around 680. What should I do? No late payments or anything of that sort

The tradelines weren't big enough or old enough to give you huge bump, I would be interested to hear what other tradelines you have but looks like you do some relationship building or work your way up on some fintechs/credit builder cards

Get an account with Self and Credit Strong for 2 years(your saving money and will get it back after 2 years minus some fees). I would create a relationship with your bank for 7 months, while using Self and Credit Strong. That saving money into your saving account and do direct deposit in you checking account. Make sure to look the requirements for getting a credit card with your bank. The bank needs to know, that you have vested interest with them and will be more keen to extend a credit to you.

I have a thin profile. 3 accounts. Looking to apply for funding within 30 Days. I don't have months to wait for the payment history to report. What is the fastest way to get to 10 accounts? I have Rent Reporters, Kovo and 1 AU.

None of that is really gonna work the way you think it will, if you get approvals they will be low limits. We cover a lot of tactics for thin profiles on this channel and our site, dig into that will give you more firepower with your strategy
