I heard many good things about DCU...but their customer service SUCKS! I did a quick loan with them for $1000... paid it off was never late, went to request another one this time for $2000 and they gave me such a run around like they didn't trust me and denied me twice because they didn't believe I had gotten a new job paying 6 figures smh. Then they approved me finally and like after 3 payments they sent me a letter saying they was suspending my account and flagged my account as a high risk or something and told me I had to mail payments in instead of being able to sign in to my online account...only for them to start automatically start debiting my previously linked account that I was making the payments through.

Sorry to hear that, these stupid issues happen with these CUs, not sure if its the AI/algo tools they using or what but BECU can be like that too and its like once you get wrapped up in that you're done

Well Monkey, you raise a good point. I think that only the first $250,000 is insured, if your bank or CU folds, and people don't talk about it. But, you seem nervous and talk fast. It's hard to watch a video when the host is nervous. I don't have to worry too much about that, because I don't have that much money.

@@WalletMonkeys Just search Kinecta - VIP Programs, I am a Hughes Gold Elite Club member,, We had two CU on site, I don't know if this is typical but when I did a refi on my house I never had to do anything but call them up. They sent someone to the house to sign papers. It was Hughes CU in 79 when I started they changed to the paymaster how Kinecta

With credit card debt at an all-time high, do you anticipate a massing drop in credit scores due to high utilization? Many believe credit scores become superficially inflated during COVID due to many payments being paused (student loans) and influx of free money.

I definitely think that there will be more defaults as payments are turned back on and as rates stay higher for longer then yes massive drop in scores and increase in defaults

I've been waiting for PenFed to mail me replacement cards (old ones expired) since February. I've had the cards 15 years and never missed a payment or disputed a transaction. I have $40K in savings and CDs on account with PenFed. My lowly card is just $4.5K. They claim to have sent new cards 4 times. They're lying.
