Literally, this is what us women should be doing. We should be encouraging eachother to do do better, and helping eachother learn to love ourselves and be a team. We women shouldn't be wasting time judging eachother and trying to one up eachother. As a woman myself, I don't like when women try to one up eachother and try to be better than anyone else. Women like growingannanas are an example of what we should be doing for eachother. We should be a team working together, and trying to encourage eachother, and I respect that a lot.

Decided to just ask a psychiatrist and recommended talk therapy. With my therapist, found out I needed boundaries, I needed to re direct how I react to things and feel confident in creating boundaries and respecting them. Respect myself. Work stays at work, find things I want to to do and who I want to be with. This is not a quick fix but for long term. Also check in with emotions, not just turn them away when I don’t want to feel it but it’s your body alerting you :) also don’t sleep under 7 hours! My avg was 5!

Your exercise routines are the best I have ever seen, and believe me, I have tried so many. Doing these 4 to 5 times a week is the only thing that has helped shift my body weight and shape over a period of only 3 months. And I have been trying for 3 years!

I never wrote anything about what I have to do in a day!! I mean we all know what to do!!! I mean do you write you have to work??? I just incorporated exercise 3 years ago and what I do it’s put on my training right away…. If I can’t in the morning , wen I went home in the afternoon I do the same ! I never write I have to do dishes 😂😂 I just know I have to do it! The only thing I write in the calendar it’s the appointments of my 4 children other wise I forget 😂😂

The problem is having 12 tasks. Focus on the top 3 or 4 and anything else you get done is extra, break up your 12 tasks between 2 or 3 days if you can. To-do lists help me stay on track but sometimes you won't be able to get everything done and have to be okay with that

Use it only if it is aiding you, not if the result of not doing something you wrote down makes you feel like a failure. Write it if you have things you need to remember and its aiding you in not losing track.

@@filipaaraujo5944 This response is rude as fuck. I’m glad everything is so easy for you to remember and mentally prioritize. Good for you. I understand that you said this because you have deep-seated insecurities and feeling like you’re better at this gives you a sense of superiority and so you just wanted to flaunt it, but don’t make that everyone else’s problem

The problem is that we don’t have time for all of this because we are exhausted from our 9-5 which is actually 9-6 (1h lunch break) plus getting ready and commute it’s 8-7, we are slaving ourselves to death, this needs to change, the standard should be less working hours per day, max 5 after that the productivity drops significantly and we are just destroying our health…

I'm a full-time independent musician, and I relate so much to everything you say on your podcasts, and this one particularly made me sad hearing how you simply can not do everything by yourself. Financially, it's hard for me to get help, so I tend to be hard on myself and get frustrated when I don't get every single thing done every single day. But listening and relating really helps me become softer towards myself, which will hopefully help with my flow. Sending love from South Africa!

You can't avoid all "stressing situations" but you can chance the way you think about them and how you handle them. That's how you can "avoid stress". It's easier to handle these situations with less stress, if you know your resources (sport which calm you down, friends or family which can help you physical or psychological, money to buy help, time to learn what's needed for this situation,..). It's not the situation itself which causes stress. It's the way we value and think about it. We get stressed if we don't know our resources (possibilities to solve it) or have the feeling that our resources are not enough to manage this task.

Anna, when you started to talk about binge eating, I was so impresssed! It feels like I'm watching a human being, with hard times and all, it feels real. I had a very stressful month, started to binge and being out of control. Now I'm coming back, but allowing myself to slow down with my "to do list". We woman need to rest, we need to allow more rest to our body, soul and mind. I need to practice that. Thanks Anna 🤍

Hi Anna! I'm not sure how long has it been since I started watching your shorts on KZfaq, but I want you to know I really admire you. I look up to your healthy (balanced) lifestyle. This podcast finds me in an emotionally unstable place in my life, which started about three years ago, when the divorce conversation between my parents got intense. To be clear, the divorce was never my problem but the way it happened - lots of fights, my brother is still blaming my mother for "kicking my father off the house" - is. I'm telling you that, because back in September I decided to have my distance from everything related to the situation, like Im freezing it for a while, so I can be more productive for my final school exams, based on which I'll enter or not university ( I'm from Greece, so that's the education system here). The thing is that although I did kept my physical distance (I haven't seen my father since August) I let my feelings overwhelm me without at the same time expressing them to their entirety. In others words the distancing was partially done .That led me to give up very early my goal and not study enough. Now I'm just half month away from the exams and anxious. For me personally, it feels weird noticing I'm anxious, as I never was and I'm not chaotic and I think I don't pass my nervousness to others. What I do though is avoiding the situation, like I won't study because I know how fast and methodical I should be to make up for lost time. And another form of my anxiety is forcing my self to stay in with the books even if I need to move my body, as you say, or have some human interaction. So thank you for mentioning the variety of defense mechanisms. I think most people hearing the word "anxiety" picture someone biting their nails, but it can be so much more. PS : Those three years I've been writing little poems in order to express myself and I love it! I hope I don't sound pessimistic. If I fail I can repeat the exams next year and in any case I'm glad I finished school and I'm getting my first job this summer. I'll also re-start running 'cause I've missed it so much.

i'm so stresfull person and before just if something is getting out of my control - for me it's was the end of the world,i getting so agressive and crying, and its was such a chaos , until i start taking AD then actually my life is chaning , cause right now if something is happend what out of my control and if something is not working out the first time i didnt cry og not blame myself about i'm shit - i react on this like -okay , i'll try just one more time. This comment not about i pushing someone to take AD , just my story about dealing with a stressfull situation and dealing with a stress for me it's much easier right now then before.❤

Isnt burnout more a sign of an environment which isnt supportive and take your work for granted? The feeling of doing so much and didnt get the recognition you supposed to get is draining. Anyways we need to get kinder to our brains. Brains do the work behind it all. It needs energy and rest to function, too, just like our bodies.
