Artemis Steele-Dizzy was the name of Shemp Howard's character in the 1941 movie In The Navy, which starred Abbott and Costello, in which Costello did that gag.

Interestingly, when you check out the nines... it works (when it should not). Maybe that's what triggered the idea of the skit in the first place.

Kid is trying to prove 7x13= 28, but uses division to prove it. I guess they didn’t spend too much time watching Lou & Abbott videos or he better fail math… 😂🤣 Very poor execution of entire bit…
