I was there. She was awesome. Normally there's not much excitement anymore for the national anthem but she had everyone pumped up for it. It was inspiring to hear her sing.

Couldn't imagine a league match starting this way! You couldn't calm the crowd for it once the players emerge. Shows the difference usa fans have for their anthem.

Notice how she gives passion on key parts on the anthem yet doesn't prolong the tone like something Christina Aguilera would do. Beautifully done.
