We would smoke ganja and listen to Jethro Tull, he would put us in a beautiful Old English folktale mood, ironically the legend says that the band did not get high on any psychoactive substances❤

I've been following the channel for some time now, and I have one comment to make: the arrangements are absolutely good, the performance is both individual and true to the original, the singing, regardless of correct tones and intonation, is of course compromised (if you take Ian Anderson's voice as a benchmark - not today's, of course), but all in all: here is a connoisseur (one listens to the introductory words to the songs) and expert at work, who has absolutely internalized the spirit of the songs and is able to realize them in wonderful versions, just great.

I believe one of the greatest compliments one can give a performance, is to claim it inspired the listener to grab an instrument and play.... You did that to me, my good man ..... Thank you,... Well done!

Yes! You really bring out the surging intensity that drove the original into the realm of the exceptional. (I can't help but also hear Martin Barre's slashing electric guitar.)

Love this one. I loved putting the needle down to open the album with this song’s quietly building intensity. Maybe I’m reading too much into it, but I’ve always thought that was a cool decision by Ian… one of his thousands, of course

Wow, Superb! loved this cover, I have listened to loads of your great I. A. cover's, I think that you have been most entertaining in what you have done, Maybe Ian should have been a solo artist, he could have been a knockout with his skills, and all of those songs, ah well not to be, but we have you, thank you for doing a great job, of doing Ian's job that he should have done.

I don’t know how you do it, whats your secret. Your covers are incredible because they are just acoustic and capture the essence of Tulls work. I’ve been a fan since 69 and have played some of their stuff but not up to your standard. I will always have these on mi iPad as reference, thanks again.
@DailySporran
@DailySporran 3 жыл бұрын
Thanks so much Frederick. Capturing the essence of the whole song is exactly what I try to do. I guess it stems from reading that Ian Anderson used to sit in hotel rooms on tour with a guitar and not only write but envisage the whole song. So I’ve tried to capture that envisaging to the best of my ability.
