Gon was so hard to find when I was actively looking for it. Lol now I've just put it lower on my list. Saw Monster complete singles go up on Ebay a few days, was SOO close to picking it up, decided against it because I wanted my Urasawa collection to have relatively the same height on my shelf. I also picked up Breaker, I heard really good things about that one, so I have expectations lol. Man, I want to see more of Boichi's mangas come to Eng publishers, the man has REALLY good art. Everytime you show your Spn edition pick ups I get jelly we don't have it in Eng.

Nice to see the Kimetsu Box set! I love the series, so I'm glad it's getting the box set treatment. It's kinda interesting to see that Kodansha US have also started using the new Japanese logo on the spines of their new manga releases. I assume they'll only do it for new series or books that start from volume 1, otherwise their spine consistency would be a mess for their older things. I've been eyeing that Vampire Hunter D omni, I think I'll use Amazon Germany, since it seems to be the cheapest option for now, I'll see how that goes lol. It's good to see newer publishers kinda appearing here and there in the US manga market, more competition is very much needed for the English publishing space, lol. It also seems like publishers are more willing to publish webtoons/manhwa , I think we'll be seeing more of that, which is interesting. Personally, I don't really care for web toons, so it won't make much of a difference for me. King of Bandits Jing looks right up my alley! Both the anime and manga are things I'll be trying out for sure in the future. For Gunslinger Girl, I've had both the anime and manga on my plan to watch/to read list for ages, but I haven't gotten to it yet. Man, Tegami Bachi looks really interesting, I think I'd enjoy it. I've seen some dope art books from this artist, his style is so nice. The Yu Yu Hakusho kanzenbans look super nice, I would have picked them up as well in Japanese if they weren't out of print, so I just purchased the regular editions instead. I guess I'll have to buy the art book second hand so I can also enjoy the color illustrations from the series. I'm low-key hoping a miracle happens and they reprint the art book since there's an upcoming Japanese live action adaptation coming on Netflix in 2023 or 2024. That Kurosawa panel reproduction looks awesome! I've seen that panel/spread page posted before online. I haven't read the series yet, I definitely will read it tho, eventually. It would be cool if Denpa also picked it up for an English publication. That Vampire Hunter D poster is so pretty! I definitely wouldn't mind if you made more of the new manga releases videos. Here's a suggestion, to make things easier for you, instead of making monthly videos about this, you can just do quarterly videos instead. That way, you'd only have to make one of these once every 3 months and you would highlight the things that looked the most interesting to you from that time frame. Either way, you don't need to feel pressured to make these types of videos if you don't want to, I recommend making the type of vids that you enjoy and make you happy. It would be super cool if you did make leather custom binds for Atelier, I agree that it's the perfect fit for the series.

I usually do a bit of research for upcoming series, but you always find something I haven’t heard about 🤩. That being said, i totally understand it being a 💩 load of work. I thought about doing something similar with anime soundtracks on vinyl, but died halfway through just two distributors 💀. Plus with how backed up the printing schedule is and how many delays on releases we’ve had (looking at you Kaiji vol 3 😭) it’s a lot to consider. Either way I’m here for it tho 💖!

Lmao webruh you got lightheaded been right there with you on holy grail finds the most batshit crazy expensive omnibus series to collect is Frankenfran but the list prices are always $500 for anything decent and intact . If I found that one I would get lightheaded I don’t ever want to have to pay $500 BUT if the story is unorthodox and gargantuan dystopian I’ll get it :-)
