I like the platform nice run and I would think you would need a 24/50 gears not sure cuz I don't have that platform

I’ve done some research and 2848 is the combination they say works well for it👍🏼

28/48 is whats recommended for a 71CC in a Vesla.

Is that with Taylor’s transmission or Kraken’s transmission?

You’re exactly right. The only problem is to move up to a bigger clutch. I would have to change the crank case on the 71 for the larger clutch

why does it break clutch springs?

It usually happens when the clutch starts slipping a lot and gets real hot sometimes it will break them and sometimes it just stretches them out to where they’re not springing anymore.
