In this video everyone we take the Kraken Vesla out back for a shake down ripp after I installed the Taylor RC HD Billet idler gear and see if it holds up to Big Bore power and torque.

Oh yes, my brother. I just got done with it and I’m getting ready to take it out again. I switch gears from 2947 to 2749. That should get it pretty much on par and put it in KILL mode 👍🏼🤙🏼💯

Thanks, Lance👍🏼 I had it over geared by just a little bit. I have to replace my clutch,springs, and switch up the gearing and I’m gonna see what it’s about tomorrow.

I know, right? I guess it’s part of it lol 😂 i’m gonna be switching out that spring in the clutch and I’m going to put proper gears behind it. I didn’t realize it, but I was actually running two teeth higher than what I had on the punisher.

I started watching your channel when I bought a red cat rampage XT then I noticed that you made some kind of hybrid out of it and I was wondering, did you not like the XT is why you did that I’m trying to learn more about these engines and stuff too Trying to find more wrenching videos and thanks for the content

The reason I made the hybrid is because of red cats, weird power distribution set up. So when I cut the chassis, I mounted the rear half of a Baja chassis on it to eliminate that Redcat drive setup

@ronniesrc no problem, my bro that’s what I learned on that was my first 5th Scale machine👍🏼 in fact I made it the fastest one on KZfaq at 51.3 mph so now you have your goals set before you lol 😝

That's where I always get my breakedge or breakdowns , in the digging turns , I snapped a drive shaft the other day on my vesla 46 , so what gearing are you recommending ? I've got the idler gear on the way also. Life the sound of that engine

Honestly, for the money you’re spending I wouldn’t go redcat at all. You can get a better machine for less money. If I remember right, the red cat xt’s are going for a little over 600 bucks.

No, sir, that’s the clutch. That’s what I mean by. It’s got too much gear in it. I said the ratio wrong in the video but the correct ratio is 2947 which is two teeth taller than what I was running prior which was 2747 in a heavier vehicle.

I’m going to be switching up the ratio to 2749 that should be more on par
