The 12 inch tires put put your pegs closer to the ground which reduced your cornering angle. 17's with a stick tire you might be able to drag a knee.

Cool that you got to ride the Surron at Adams. You'll definitely have to raise the pegs up for more ground clearance. Also body position will help a lot. If you can get more off the bike like they do roadracing, that will decrease your lean angle and you won't drag the pegs to bad.

I think the only reason the ignition looks weird is because of the 72 volt battery cover which is higher

Gotta do the math and get a sprocket to get you back to around the same ratio you were at on the 17". You could still wheelie easily and get back some of the top end speed. Great video bro.

Your bike went from a supermoto to a Grom with just changing the wheels :D. For track use look at getting peg risers, I use these on my Grom for track days. You could also get a knee down with practice, but I would recommend full leathers to save your knees, would also save you a lot more in a fall than the carting suit

i love watching you videos and watching the surron in action im obsessed, and i want one more more every time i see it! also do you need licence for the surron and if what kind of licence, and how old do you have to be?

Hey clearly I'm not surronster or affiliated but I do have a Sur Ron and wanted to get your question answered. The license part is tricky because unfortunately almost everywhere in USA and Canada these bikes are technically not legal to be on the road, they are simply to powerful and laws very greatly from state to state/province to province so you would have to check the internet for where you are to see. That being said I ride mine on bike trails and keep a low profile (not go fast around other bikes/people and haven't had a single issue in the 6 months I've owned my bike), I also have a pedal kit on my bike to help blend in if anyone's looking to hard. As for age since there's no way of registering it for the road (in most places again where you live you might be able to but highly doubt it) there isn't really an age requirement, these things to go fast so I'd say around 14 but that's based on me dirt biking fairly young so again mileage and your parents will vary haha. I know that's a little vague but hope it helps! 🤙

Watched so many of your videos. Great content. Thinking about selling my lacroix lonestar super sport (excellent electric board) and buying a Sur Ron . Out of money so cannot afford both. Feeling like a Sur Ron may be more my style. Just bought the super sport . Not even 10 miles on it and that’s when i realize an e-bike may be more my riding style. I know in normal supermoto racing they have nylon blocks on the bottom of the peg so it glides smooth on the tarmac and folds up without digging in

your ranger sounds really good! you must have an aftermarket exhaust? is it a 3.7 or 4.0? I've had 3 different cylinder sizes and the Lil 4 cylinder was my favorite. 1.6 i believe most pep to its step! 3.0 was a little clumsy and slow but had power! and the 4.0 just liked to spin the tires!

My mate from the bike life used to have 11 inch wheels and then one day i asked him why he was using those wheels on his K5 and he told me that they are better or smth. From that day on ive been trying to get a cheap pitty so then i can put the 11 inch mini moto wheels on it.

hey, if you like your ankles you should get some half-height moto boots at least! It'll save your ability to still walk if you ever wash out then smack yourself between a curb & your bike (which can happen on the street, or much more commonly on the track). Also, the suit you were wearing is more for enclosed vehicle protection - more for fire resistance - vs a suit that is meant to slide on the pavement for motorcycle racers/riders.
