Technically, the landowners are not selling wild game. They are selling access to their private property. That's how they get around the law anyway. That's why you can argue in court that they can't fine you for the "value" of the deer. It has no value because it's illegal to sell wild game.

This dude has a serious case of entitlement… he was 100% wrong and still all these years later he’s looking for ways to justify his actions… the guy goes on and on about this and that with nobody to fact check anything he’s saying… you’d think he would be happy these ranches struck gold (oil) and gave everyone in the area a freaking job…
@nickcook19632 жыл бұрын
Spoken like a “supreme renegade” indeed. Nothing wrong with what Mr. Pat did. Our people came here to escape the European hellscape where some loaded little prick tells every other man what he can or cannot do because he hit the birth lottery and ended up controlling much more than he needed. Unlike crazy Charlie, I don’t think that Pat is doing anything to bring personal glory to himself, but instead, he’s explaining the mindset of a generation and a region. There are other regions in this country where this mindset still hasn’t changed. You’d think that the ranchers would be happy that little peeons like us are willing to fix pipeline, repair equipment, and educate children for a class of people that wouldn’t piss on us if we were burning.
@southgajeeepers24162 жыл бұрын
I agree with him 100%. My family had land took from us by the military and so did lots of other people. The same things happened here with sneaking around and crossing lines that weren’t supposed to be crossed. It was a way of life, and was passed down to future generations. The game wardens knew it to . Some of them had land took from their families. It was a cat and mouse game . You think you get nervous when you take aim at a big buck. Imagine knowing soon as you pull that trigger you go from being the hunter to the hunted!!!!!
@garybaltes1500 Жыл бұрын
I know Pat, I worked with him at Celanese. This is the way it was in the 70’s. There were quite a few of hunters in Kingsville, Bishop and Riviera that enjoyed a great hunt. You had to be there to know how it was.
