It's Ford Mustang vs Ford Mustang this week and both have been tuned by Mustang Motorsport to produce 750hp! I think it would be great to test what some shops are putting out especially if they are "packages" to give us an idea of stock vs modified.

You need to do a burnout to get these cars to launch properly especially with the drag radials.

well that was surprising all that grunt and torque and only managed a 4 sec 0-100kmh and 11.7 quarter mile ??? my M2 Comp with only 440kw at the crank can do 0-60 in 3.8seconds and low 11s for quarter

Worst representation of a radial. Didn't even heat it up. No wonder the tyre slipped. Heat the tyres up, 750hp is good for 10.3's in those cars.

Awesome in August 2022 I bought the only White V8 Mustang with the 3rd Fun Pedal Manual Transmission for sale in all of California. It has the Tremec Rev-Match 6 Speed Manual Transmission.. it is I never Race it The MagneRide is Awesome in the Canyons 👨🏻🤘🏻🏎️🏁🚩🌲⛰️

More data to prove that supercharged Mustangs and HSV LSAs remain sadly, 12 sec street cars - no matter how impressive their dyno sheets. Thanks to Roush, these things are admirably getting close to stock 4 cylinder Mk 8 Golf R timings on street tyres 😂. Needs slicks and four hundred attempts and caveats (choose lane, remove journalist driver) to break into the 11’s. Highly inconsistent performance cars. It would be interesting what the average timings were and not just the one unicorn good timing they put up on the screen. Summary : don’t buy a modified supercharged V8 if you want to be quick.

I have a fuel injected 68 mustang street car that runs 9.80 all motor and would rape your shit in reverse. Your gay as fck 4 bangers no one cares about and these roush cars with warm drag radials would run much better times.

@@maximusvonce1381 well firstly well done that you’ve identified that if you remove enough factory parts and spend enough money you can make a turd (your mustang isn’t a turd) go fast over the quarter mile. Getting a factory car with heated seats, radar cruise control, daily drivable comfort, aircon, can pass a state rego test and then comfortably and reliably beat muscle cars is far more impressive. I don’t own a four cylinder but my bolt on, stock turbo, untouched engine, stock driveline, RS3 runs 10’s on street tyres, unprepped surface, no burn outs required, no caveats, no laminated dyno sheets, no excuses, no builshit. Just easy and repeatable. Dragy proven.

Mate i got a falcon FG GT 5.0 charged the car ran 10.6 on the track with semi slicks on 98 octane making around 450rwkw now my car is on E85 making around 520rwkw still stock motor and charger hoping to get into the 9s on the track but i admit it is a bit of a hand full below 80kmh on street tyres Your RS3 are a very impressive cars but you are comparing awd against rwd huge difference

@@danielsjovanoski580 - my point was about the 99.8% of the time people using their street cars on street tyres (if you drive on semi’s, we’ll that’s cool - that’s what I do 100% of the time) - which is what Motor mag focuses on. These are 12sec street cars with highly variable 0-100 times ranging from 4-6secs. Any power over 300rwkw is a compromise on the street. If it’s track cars set up for the track on a prepped track, that’s another comparo altogether. I don’t think the driveline is an ‘unfair advantage’, rather it’s just how Audi designed it that way from the start. You could also say the engine is half the size ;) People don’t do tyre warm up burn outs on the street, that you would at the track. I suppose I could strip the interior out of my car and run slicks too - but that’s not representative of how daily driven cars gets driven for 99.8% of the time.

Mustangs can have 1,000 hp and still lose out to 500hp car. If the GT Mustang had better traction, it probably would've won the 1/4 mile or lost it by a "nose".

These cars not remotely close to full potential. Get a custom tune and smaller pulley and 9's easy.

My G6E turbo ran the quicker of the 2’s times over 10 years ago single spinnner on 235’s at Calder with less than 5k mods didn’t have 700 baby horses under the bonnet either, I’ve also had a 2018 mustang so I’m not a hater, but the mods alone in these is a lot of money and I don’t see the results, to quote Fullboost a 2k Barra would chop these LOL

@@THEROADSMITH the variable is the track conditions not the car. The falcon is heavier, less power, and has skinnier tyres and arguably worse suspension system. Maybe the next match up should be a falcon vs mustang though? 🤔

#1 You put drag tyres on and didn't do a fucking burnout and smoke them up warm the rubber up without heat they're literally worse than a standard tyre hence why the other annoying driver was closer to the Finnish line. #2 less talk more action your not Jeremy Clarkson and Richard Hammond you carry on like a bunch of house wives and that's disrespecting house wives #3 you guys talking about how scarry the car is is about as Manly as telling a girlfriend/boyfriend you have to put your face moisturiser on and take out your man bun while you wait for your blue pill to kick in before you make love. #4 information you told us zero about the cars apart from the power and it's Roush you can't tell me the litres of the superchargers or what boost there on. is it running the 6s or 10s trans has it got the upgraded trans cooler or bigger drive shafts you said it had some bits done to it what bits a sticker. Has it got the magna ride suspension what's been done to it. And use were going to use launch control did you or not and you spoke about how good they sound but never done a full run to let us hear what they actually sound like from go to whoa. PS don't take this as hate take it as what people would want to see as I couldn't even share this with mates as they would say why did you send this crap it didn't even show how fast they went or the times they're were doing. You basically showed one side of the car for 10mins
