Don't let that perfectly aged '67 C10 exterior fool anyone - this patina hauler packs a serious punch.

This is such a great build. I am seriously considering purchasing this frame. Could I ask you to measure the distance between the lowest point of the cab rocker pinch weld to the ground? And what size are your tires? Just trying to get an exact ride height figure. Thank you in advance!

Lol yea right the. Chasis alone in 15-20k engine trans diff wheels suspension and supporting mods for 750hp plus labor would put you about 70k-80k

Just not the right quality despite of what he is claiming. There is just not enough travel in the suspension for that. You can see them bouncing around because of to high spring rate my guess.

Remember that the LT5/10L80 drivetrain has traction control built into the logic of the system. GM's engine technology is torque based, so any of the connect 'n cruise packages come that way. I have two of their frames and all I can tell you is it's the way to roll.

What a sweet ride you nailed it on all corners, perfect stance not all squatted down like to many you see and the new Wheels and rubber blend perfectly, hugs the corners like a sports car with the convenience of a truck without having to worry about door dings....Nice! ✌️

Contrary so popular belief well designed sport suspension is not bouncy like on this truck. It does not have enough suspension travel and too much spring rate probably

I like manual transmissions too but I kept it column shift automatic to make it more comfortable for a third passenger and so my wife would be willing to drive it too.

Too top this project brother!!! Here in Brazil we also have a Chevrolet C-10 model. Not like this one and not with this kkkk engine. I would love to see some of our C-10s here in Brazil at the Roadster Shop being completely prepared by you with a high level of quality and without a doubt an excellent taste. I don't remember seeing or that anyone saw any vehicle defect or detail to be filled in or removed.

LT5 is the crate GM motor w/ a supercharger right? You can hardly hear it!! Mean it sounds almost normally aspirated.

It is the OE 10L90 transmission that comes in the ZL1 Camaro. That is 650 hp and right now, the engine is at 750, so not much more than the factory application. It is using and OE converter at OE stall.

Since this video I removed the antenna to lower the wind noise on the interstate. It just has a plug where it used to be now.

Chassis is nice but afterwards you are maintaining a race car not a genetic truck where parts are plentiful. That's what's kept me from doing it. Each to there own I suppose

@@northernbel1974 Not here...which is why GM makes emissions legal "E-Rod" drivetrains. So you can put emissions constrained modern motors in older or different vehicles. Technically you can do an LT5 if no one knows. That's why we have turbo Hondas on every street corner in So Cal.

It's legal here in California for sure. The truck is smog exempt. I believe the last year to do smog was 76. Don't quote me on that one.
