I have some finding to share after hours of testing: I find this macro rotation will do more dmg for me:" /castsequence reset=combat Flame Shock, Stormstrike, Lava Sweep, Wind Strike, Stone Shard, Pure Chaos Bolt, Lava Sweep, Flame Shock, Felblade, Wind Strike, Lava Sweep, Chaos Burn" 1) I replace Hateful strike with Felblade because Felblade will do signifcantly more dmg and scaling better, assuming we use it once per rotation. 2) Flame shock + Stone Shard + Pure Chaos Bolt early to trigger Elemental Equilibrium buff earlier. 3) Lava Sweep (LS) has 4.5sec CD, so we can put 3 ability/attacks perfectly between them. In your rotation posted, you put only 2 attacks (wind strike, flame shock) between 1st and 2nd Lava Sweep, then you would waste 1sec waiting for 2nd LS CD in every rotation. 4) All my LS will get the buff from after both flame shot (elemental fusion) and Stormstirke (imp. Stormstirke) BTW, for the talent choice, I am thinking if I should keep [Seething flame], because it was around 2% ST fight but 6%~8% (top 5) in AOE fight. It seems to be more reliable than Molten Earth because ME is ground based and can do a bit more dmg only for dummy or the bosses don't move at all. If the raid boss move around as usual or it's a moving fight, ME do much much less dmg. Or do you suggest if I should keep both and swap another talent in your mind?

@@Zynovus yo bro, you should have 2 spells in between every lava sweep. Lava sweep gets pressed (1.5s gcd) 2nd spell (1.5s gcd), 3rd spell ( 1.5s gcd ), total 4.5 sec lava sweep cooldown. Lava seee goes on cooldown the moment you press it , with your macro you are delaying lava sweep 1.5s each time dunno how it is damage gain . Soz on holiday will look more when back home

@@Vxlvxt Oh thanks so much for the clarification. I just found the problem with my testing. I tested my rotation with Blade Flurry, which reduces GCD. During blade Flurry, I always have 1 sec wait time when I have 2 spells in between every lava sweep. But in your posted rotation macro, you also put 3 spells before or after the 3rd lava sweep. So you only have LS 3 times during you rotation of 11 spells. Assuming without blade flurry it's optimal to have 2 spells between every LS. I think the better rotation would be "/castsequence reset=combat Flame Shock, Lava Sweep, Wind Strike, Stone Shard, Lava Sweep, Pure Chaos Bolt, Flame Shock, Lava Sweep, Felblade, Stormstrike, Lava Sweep, Chaos Burn" In this way, we could have 4 LS per rotation (12 spells), which should be better than your posted rotation (3 LS in 11 spells rotation) The additional Flame Shock is to ensure elemental fusion and super hot buff for all LS. What do you think?

@@Vxlvxt my have test 3 kind of tank: Demon fire tank, parry fire tank, holy light parry tank, only holy one can handle the high level M+(40-60) threat, others are too easy to ot, damn~ hope they can buff the threat mechanism.

Naahh, I'd say this is an extreme example tbh, there are many good builds performing well that are fun to play. I just feel they should remove cast sequence that's all :)

@@Vxlvxt ye. showing it works doesnt mean: its the only thing that works. Removing cast sequence is a good idea. Lets all please "/w Nova REMOVE CAST SEQUENCE NOW"

10% dmg on lava sweep bumps it from 25% to 27.5% PLUS converting 0.45 of that into ignite damage, so 2.5% + 0.45*2.5% gives like 3.6% overall dmg, pretty good for a talent. I got confirmation from a few that it does work

@@Vxlvxt what’s the confirmation though? Just word of mouth or? How do you know lava sweep is considered melee? Everything I’ve looked into and read ( forums, spell IDs, descriptions) point that lava lash is considered a spell and not melee

+ wouldn’t it be better just to run another +3% dmg instead? For better scaling with all abilities

@@lukenaugle7210 No not better to run 3% because there are none left, and prey on the weak gives u 3.6%. Yes it's an ability, ask GM to confirm

@@Vxlvxt okay so if lava sweep is considered a melee attack then why when I test the “execute” dummy with the talent my dps does not increase?
