No matter how good a blush is, how exquisite the ingredients and how luxurious the packaging is, there is no way it could ever be worth 77$. That's just WILD.

Never in my lifetime would I spend that much money on a blush, when there are so many less expensive blushes that are equally as nice, or nicer. Michele Wang said the same about the packaging. You're not being a brat. For the price, the packaging should be much nicer. The colors do look beautiful on you. Have a great weekend ❣😊❤

It's so funny that we chat about stuff all the time and we never really spoke much about these blushes and we BOTH had the same reactions to the underwhelming packaging. I was NOT impressed😬 . I couldn't recommend them to my audience they are just WAY too much money for what you DON'T get😢 Great minds think alike, and like you, I'm so happy I didn't buy more🤦‍♀️

The refills (on the Hermes site) are $46 US. If you’re dying to have it I’d just buy the refill.

You & Tara Lynn had the same takeaway! Thanks for your honest review. Packaging wise this look like a $30-45 blush ... totally underwhelming imo. When buying a luxury $77 plus tax/shipping 6 gram blush, you definitely expect not only a beautiful product, but a beautiful component to house it as well!

Thanks for keeping it real on your channel. The only products I’m willing to drop this much coin or more on would be a face oil or moisturizer or a face powder because to me they’re more high impact. Mac, melt, benefit all make amazing blushes I love at far less cost.

$77.00 for blush? For that amount of money it better make me blush naturally. I know that prestige brands are a "thing," but I just can't justify paying that much money for a name. And as an aside, that lipstick color looks AMAZING on you!

I'm so happy that you posted a review!! I wasn't going to buy, but then I changed my mind. $77 is pricey, but there are lots of makeup items that I've paid money for that probably weren't worth it. After a year of almost no makeup purchases it was a worthy indulgence. Plus I really like the way it applies. I'll probably buy one or two more colors eventually.

Hey Mel! 🧡 Happy Friday! I ordered the blush in Rose Abricot and 1 of the rosy lip balms in Rose Abricot as well. The lip balm is heavier and definitely feels more luxurious than the blush. I love the shades that I received and I’ll definitely use them. Are they worth the price....probably not. But, I’m a sucker for beautiful packaging and I had a Nordstrom gift card. Lol! That’s how I justified my purchase. 😅🙃😉 Also, the lip balms & lipsticks are refillable as well.

Honestly, I would never spend $77 on a blush. Moreover, I would never spend $77 on anything that has cheap, white plastic packaging. Yikes! You could get similar blush shades with more luxurious packaging for less than half the price. They look good; but do they look better than other much less expensive blushes that you love?? Thanks for taking one for the team & saving many people some serious $!! Love this lip color on you, as always!! 🧡

Where I live (Montréal), that blush would cost me CDN$ 110 ($96 + 15% tax), and for that kind of money, I expect GREAT packaging. Coming from Hermès, a light/cheap-feeling compact is very disappointing . Too bad because I had my eyes on this :'(

I’m with you on this! I bought Rose Plume and Rose Ombre and they’re nice, but I kind of wish I had passed. They’re no better than Chanel or Dior in my opinion, and I prefer the finish on those others. I also like the Charlotte Tilbury better. And while you were talking I held a Chanel blush in one hand and the Hermes in the other - they feel pretty close in terms of weight. Charlotte Tilbury was slightly heavier, but the bottom line is that I totally agree - this Hermes packaging isn’t super luxe. 💗

Hey Mel as soon as I saw these blushes, these reminded me of Becca cosmetics mineral blushes in shades wild Honey and songbird blushes, exact same colours but ofcourse Becca ones are much more reasonable in price than these 🤔 I’m so sad that Becca are closing down 😔

Your eyes look incredible. And thank you for being “ a spoiled brat” and picky about the entire product including packaging. It seems Hermès is trading on their name and not delivering what they are charging for. There are so many really beautiful blushes out there ( Wayne Goss , etc al) that if a company is going to charge this price , they need to step it up. Kicking this blush to the curb. You look so pretty, Mel! I just ordered the Hermès blush in Rose Ombré, but it’s my first purchase from Hermès. I watched Tara Lynn’s video on these blushes, and she was really bummed about the packaging as well. What really shocks me is that they glued in the blush when it’s supposed to be refillable! That seems tacky to me. For that price point, they should’ve had magnetic refills!🤨

Omg! did you see Pat's New Devine Blushes yesterday 🤩🤩 they are gorgeous. I don't believe they've released prices yet. But I'd love to see you do a review on them❤ Edited I don't think you're being picky ,I mean what are we paying for after the name? Hermès OK, it's not a bag or clothing that you'll keep forever or appreciates in values. Yes It's nice makeup but so are other brands. Packaging does matter I would like it to be a vanity piece too because at $77 dollars let's be honest that's what it is lol.

Couldn't agree more about the packaging! I was devastated that it felt so insubstantial. Typically, I would say that weight for the sake of weight is just bad for the environment, but these are refillable! That means I want this to feel like it will last forever, not some thin, chintzy kind of plastic and brushed aluminum that is just going to get scratched and dinged. The blush is lovely, but there is nothing that makes this feel special or precious and yeah, I want precious for $77. It makes me reluctant to want to keep collecting future launches, if this is the standard for the brand.

I believe you’ve reviewed it before, but I wanted to ask you if you think it’s a must have to get or if you think other highlighters are better to achieve that same look?

It’s amazing! But you do have to love intense highlights. They are a wonderful formula 🥰
