Why hasn't Brian Schmidt won a Grammy for this banger? If pinball music was a category, he deserves to take all the awards home with him by now.

This games brings back memories. We could play for hours on this machine. These machines are a magical combination of analog and digital technologies, they blur the lines. Von Neuman himself would have probably loved them (he favored analog computing - which didn't take off such as digital computing did). It's always amazing to me so many discreet rules can go into one single solution. No kidding, TNT Amusements in my opinion is a source of happiness for anyone who comes in contact with them... I JUST discovered them in a video prior to this.

I would pay to see a "The Office" styled show on these guys

This is amazing!!! I had no idea how complicated everything was under the hood. The fact that all that is going on underneath and the machine can still work beautifully is a wondrous thing! I LOVE pinball! But sadly there are very few places near me that have actual pinball machines I can play (the only one I can think of is a Juice Shack where I can play Funhouse. Gotta love Rudy!). So I really feel fortunate that a certain video game developer made a true-to-the-classics pinball game for PS4 called The Pinball Arcade. If it wasn't for that game, I'd have no idea Black Knight 2000 even existed. It's my favorite machine, largely due to the great music to be honest. But of course, nothing beats the real thing; as great as that video game is (they meticulously recreated every aspect of classic tables, down to the most minute details), playing an actual pinball machine is so much more satisfying. I might just binge watch a ton of your videos one day while playing the pinball game at home. Oh, and I totally subscribed! You guys rock! Keep up the good work! ^_^

There's a Black Knight 2000 set up like this one in my area. Brighter LEDs really give all the light animations some extra punch and I just had a blast with it. Aesthetically perfect - favorite pin.

Love the black knight 2000 pinball .Played it at an Arcade in the NE Philadelphia. That was back in the late 80's. This just bring back memories .TY

The great and power Brian Schmidt did this bad ass soundtrack, he also did the soundtrack for Swords of FUN! Too bad he's sweeping the floors at stern pinball according to Frank. Hopefully Mr. Schmidt will chime in again like he did in the last swords of fury video u did.

So much good memories on this machine. It s my number 2 most favorite game of all time. I do remember it being a bit different and doing some research on it it seems there were 2 different styles. We rocked this machine so hard in the cafeteria we damaged the tiles it was standing on and then it ended on wheels wich totally killed the gameplay. If you can t nudge it then this game is brutal and shows no mercy

Since pinball resource stopped producing the clear pop bumper caps but you can still substitute them for the opaque white bumper caps instead.

This is only one of two pinball machines I'd like to own. the other is F-14 Tomcat. Both machines are just incredibly intense. BK2K's RANSOM and F-14's Multiball are both way over the top excitement, and I love it when any game takes its time to build up how awesome the next 30 seconds is going to be.

Great videos subscribed to your channel. I just picked up my first pin BK2K one of my favorites when I was a kid. I would like to change the lights to LED on the back box. Would you have any recommendations of which types of light bulbs I should get?

The game music sounds very similar to a Sega System 16 audio hardware. I think they used a YM2151 audio chip for the FM synth in that.

I’m switching over to LED on mine. Are those yellow led or warm white?
