I was trying to explain to someone yesterday that this fantastic table was more like playing baseball than pinball...a test of reaction speed....and nothing can capture the sounds like being in front of the machine. I loved how the programmers used multi-tracks and events to allow the song to hang on the beat while mixing it up for events. My all time favorite table (well, there is Addams's & Twilight...but they just aren't this sweat-making)

I've only played this on Pinball Arcade. But there was something about this table that hooked me. Not only is it the art, the music, and the fun gameplay it provides, but it's also knowing that Ed Boon (the Black Knight) and Dan Forden worked on it. Which, only 3 years later, they came out with a well-known franchise named Mortal Kombat.

Played this for the first time yesterday. What a table! Unfortunately it wasn't in pristine condition, but it still lived up to the years of expectations I've had for this game. Suffice it to say, this is now one of my absolute favorites.

Just played this today for the first time in the Kraków (Cracow) Pinball Museum and can say that the music from this machine is incredible when experienced first-hand!

I remember being at the top for weeks in Stafford College on this machine, being in the engineering dept was a bonus too, we made loads of pound coin replicas turning brass on a lathe then filling the center hole with lead for weight. LoL would love to see this again after all these years! It was a temperamental machine, always being down for service with the upper flipper failing or lower right not having any power. I may invest in something as a money box for the holiday fund... Thanks for sharing a remnant of my younger years, a deffo favourite!!!

Scoring big on BK2K isn't just about hitting the shots; it is about hitting the right shots at the right time. Mastering the one-touch shot to get the ball back to the upper playfield is so important

It's been 25 years since the last time I played this table, and watching this I can still feel the right amount of nudge to rock the ball away from the side chutes. Thank you. And damn you, because now I need to find one again.

I used to play this captivating machine for hours at an arcade Take 10 as a child Loved this machine great for a.d.d. Only thing is the ball used to sometimes stick in the launcher, but that’s pinball. The Black Night would just laugh

Maaaaan, I'll NEVER forget the first time I landed a Special on this game many moons ago! That super loud POP on that machine scared the soul outta me for a moment! Best time ever!!

This thing was so loud. My local arcade would have it cranked. You could hear it before you even walked in, goading the player to play "GIVE ME YOUR MONEY". Then when you played it had such unique sounds and music. The thing was loud and raucous and amazing.

Steve Richie, was an influential pinball creator and created not only my dads love for pinball, but mine. I also own a Black Knight 2000, but the lowest most thumper on the second level doesn't work

I can't fathom how much money I dumped into BK2000 at the old amusement center at Corry Station in Pensacolam FL back in 1990 time era. Hands down the fastest and hardest pinball table I ever played. Loved it.

I use to put quarters up on the glass to wait in line to play Mortal Kombat at my local arcade. This machine would do its own light show next to M.K. This song was a huge part on my youth. P.S This machine was an epileptic’s kid’s nightmare. P.P.S this guys a fucking pinball Wizard! I did know there was end game sounds!

😳 ….this is so mind-blowing…. it’s just purely visceral epileptic overload… taking just one general subset of why we love tables, and amping that aspect up to 11… it’s just a table for players on drugs lol

When I had a spare quarter or two I always bumped the machine to see what the tolerances were before I started playing seriously. It is a legitimate strategy. Once I learned the limitations of the bump I never lost a single quarter after my initial "serious playing" quarter. Yes, I was that kid that hogging that pinball machine without placing another quarter in.

I probably should mention that one of the lightning bolts on the table doesn't light up like the other ones.

back in 2014 i found one black night 2000 for sale here in Greece for 600 euro and one revenge from mars for 700 euro.still to this day i regret for not buying them on the spot... :(

The one at my arcade feeds the ball into the right sling half the time. Is this by design? I have to hit the table every time it comes down that guide rail, and my hand gets really sore. And if you don't hit it just right, it's an instant drain. So I'm guessing the answer is probably no lol... But I've heard this table is pretty brutal, so just asking anyway.

You always want. To play in at least 2. player to get the bonus ball at the end.

OK first off all. You clearly have more skill than me when it comes to knowing how to use the ball. However. You panic too much. You take unnecessary chances. An you kind of rush to get rid of the ball way too soon. Its like you aren't feeling the groove of the game.
