Not Restored too much to preserve as much as possible of the top end, you WILL hear some hiss BUT will also hear tones and timbers not heard since the disc was recorded. Rubbish junk shop 78's too!

Another great effort. Regarding your interest in tackling a US pressing, you will probably find most 78s from there even more challenging to restore. As you may already know, most discs from this era that were pressed by EMI at Homebush, Sydney, were noticeably quieter than their American and English counterparts. This was due to the fact that all Homebush 78s utilised a laminated pressing process that, overseas, only Columbia records held the rights for. Laminated, as opposed to solid shellac pressings, could be almost as quiet as vinyl, but much tougher.Keep up the good work.

A slight dynamic expansion might be useful for all future releases might be a little necessary!

Well, what matters the most is the excellent work you are doing on these restorations. I can't understand why you aren't getting the recognition for all this work but keep plugging away.. it will come. In the meantime as all this stuff is way out of copyright (at least it is currently in the UK) can't you sell it?

I imagine you mean "Ambrose" rather than "Amborse"... but it sounds very good of course... nicely done!

I'm not sure about the copyright. Might depend on the country and who or what owns/owned the rights.
