Light scattering is a form of scattering in which light in the form of propagating energy is scattered. Light scattering can be thought of as the deflection of a ray from a straight path, for example by irregularities in the propagation medium, particles, or in the interface between two media.

Because red has more wavelength than other colours but other have low wavelength they could not travel longer but red can travel more diatance, during dawn and dusk as the sun is faraway.

CV Raman was the first discovered why the sky is blue for that purpose he was got noble prize.

A rather poor video... He tries to copy Salman Khan's (Khan academy's founder) way of speaking with little success. The only interesting things I learned were thanks to the posts by Bharath Kumar and Gaurav Bajpeyee.
