7M "12v mod" | cam and crank angle sensor update, does it work?

I threw this quick video together to help you guys ditch the old gem fuel pump relay. I apologize if I missed anything. Also wanted to show you guys the cam and crank angle sensors synchronize perfect. check out my cam and crank angle sensor video if you are wanting to do the same thing on your cars.
Relay reference:
86 - +12v switched at ignition
30 - +12v constant
87 - relay to fuel pump
85 - ground or (ecu aux output)

Hey, if you haven't already hard mounted your relay for the 12V mod... Mount it behind that plastic removable panel where you can access the tail lights. You can mount the relay back there and ground it to the factory chassis. It keeps the ground super close to the relay and all of the wires are hidden! I ran the 12V fuel pump power and ground wires through the factory grommet as well so everything is tucked away!

Oh I love that idea! I'm sure someone on here will want to run it this way. All my plastic trim pieces are gone. I also don't have mine grounded as it runs to the ecu for the signal. That would definitely keep things nice and clean and tucked away.

Are you getting rid of the mge distributor now? I saw your last video when you talked about spinning a bearing, since you relocated the dipstick make sure the oil level it reads is accurate in the pan. That could be what spun it, id be surprised if high rpms did. Nice vids man keep em coming

Thanks for checking out the channel man! Yeah distributor is gone now. All coil over plugs with cam and crank sensors. The dipstick is still in the factory location. I just needed to bend the rod for the handle to clear the turbo. I made sure to double check all that so I didn't get false readings. I was an idiot and over revved it everywhere I went because it sounded cool.......🤦‍♂️

Wire size and amperage dosent matter n the ignition or switched power side of the relay. Thats just a reference for on/off. There is hardly any actual draw. Probably less than 1 amp. The fuel pump load runs off your bigger red fused wire coming off the battery to the relay.
