-soooo two 1.5V batteries could power something up to 5+ V if you attach a magnet to it...wow -my fingers are useless, better to scratch my display with a battery -if you need to hold your keys next to your door, you don't need a nail or an hook and use the already-in-place ring, it's better to disrupt a 9V battery in order to acquire a very useful click-clack button...and of course you only need to glue it on your door i think you're the same guy that uses american tape as the ultimate fix-everything-everywhere tool?

What if magnets are banned in your country because babies eat them? Heres a tip, you can use OLD batteries from HIGH drain devices to power MOST remote controls. Even though they can't power the high drain devices any longer they can still very often maintain their voltage output with a low drain device like a remote control, clock(if you're not worried it may stop in a few weeks or months), or even a computer keyboard. And they can often last for many many months in such devices. Don't throw old camera batteries away just because they can't power a camera any longer. Aluminum foil used in the manner he indicates almost invariably results in a bad connection. For the keys hanger one, you could just get an old pair of pants you don't wear anymore or go buy a pair of kid's pants (they almost always have the snap buttons) and use those instead of opening up and wasting a 9V battery and potentially hurting yourself with the battery acid.

1. Why not just leave the batteries in their original packaging? 2. Why would you need to put two or more batteries on a meter at the same time? 3 . It's called a nail and it much simpler to install as a key hook than taking a 9 volt battery apart. 4. Why use a battery when you already have fingers? 5. Why not just go get some more AA batteries? It's not like they are expensive or hard to find. 6. There are much easier and less expensive options for starting fires. 7&8. I only saw 6 hacks, I'm not counting the clock, cause it was the same as the remote
