We have used the kzfaq.infoUgkxOTeIs0vv4_9B5hsmnLsk9r930uDQLu_Y for probably 30 hours with our camper and it’s been great! The noise level is really only noticeable when running the AC and other appliances like the microwave, hair dryer, or coffee pot. It’s not huge like other ones and it has wheels so even at 90lbs, I can move it!

Anyone else notice number 1 Duramax has 15KW STARTING watts and the number 2 Generac has 22KW? They run all day at 15KW while the Duramax can only maintain 12KW. You can’t compare the two, not even close in the class of generator. Generac doesn’t try to deceive with the model number. That’s the difference in marketing and a testament to Generac’s integrity.

Pretty much all brands highlight the starting watts, not the running watts.

⚠️Rules about generator safety: This is a very important announcement for everyone. It’s important to follow all generator safety rules whenever we use portable generators: Everyone must see this. This is just a reminder for everyone’s safety. 1) KEEPING OTHERS SAFE: Please do not allow an unqualified person or your children to operate and service the portable generator. Just because some manuals don’t say that doesn’t mean it’s safe. That is important against the generator safety rules. We also need to be keeping an eye on our children too. You need to make sure that your children are not playing near the portable generator especially when it’s running so they won’t get electrocuted. Generators pose electrical risks and they can be hot during an operation. Please keep your children away from the portable generator at all times. It is important to keep our children safe especially our little ones. Be aware of all the hazards. 2) WHERE TO RUN YOUR GENERATOR: Some people use their portable generators indoors which increases the risk of carbon monoxide poisoning. It’s important to have a carbon monoxide if you have a gas generator. Never ever use your generator indoors even if your doors and windows are open and even in the garage is not safe to use a portable generator. Not even at your porch and your deck. It is never safe to use your generator indoors and in enclosed areas of your home. Your generator needs to be 15-20 feet away from your house. 3)🔥FIRE HAZARDS: Never refuel your generator while it’s running. You need to let your generator cool off before refueling it and before storing your generator. Never overload your generator too. Never ever back feed your generator. You should never plug your generator into a wall outlet. Also never store propane tanks indoors. Please keep flammable things away from the generator as well and please don’t smoke cigarettes near the generator. Having a fire extinguisher next to the generator is also important against the generator safety rules. 4) GENERATOR OPERATION: make sure your hands are dry before touching the generator. Never use your generator in wet conditions. Don’t let your generator get wet. You need a generator tent if you need to use your generator during wet weather. Please don’t wear loose clothes when operating the generator. Turn on your generator before plugging in appliances. Use the right cord for your generator. Please do not use worn out cords. kzfaq.info/get/bejne/f5eah5Zys6uypn0.html and here is a video more about keeping others safe when using generators Hope this helps. Remember safety first

@@dboy6400 it looks like you missed his point. He examined both starting and running watts, and correctly said the two generators are significantly different in size. They ought not be compared in the same class.

Thanks for your help. I am just checking on multiple fuel ,( gas diesel, LP, natural gas… ) or whatever. I relied on “conventional wisdom “ and was disappointed. So… conversion kits and the necessary information, materials, and codes would SAVE ME more time than I can afford. Please advise. Please remember your humble opinion is respectful submitted and gratefully accept. Thanks again.

You need to have a propane because there is not a fuel that you can store. Gas and diesel will go bad diesel will get a algae in it and clog your filters and we I know about gas .propane is the only way to go and it will stay fresh for many years. I love diesels I drove Dodge cummins but the fuel storage is the problem and if the power goes out you won’t be able to buy fuel.
@allanj45762 жыл бұрын
@@brentmcmahon8188 go with gas and rotate fresh fuel through the jerry cans once a year with zero issues, premium fuel is good for a very long time. You lose output running on propane.
@brentmcmahon81882 жыл бұрын
I’ve always said that about diesel and 1800 rpm max and will last you a life time because once you buy it you hardly need after that. The 14 kw lowboy from Kubota is a great rig but I think they faster than 1800 but that’s the magic number for set gas or diesel is 1800 rpm most these these Gen set most people buy are lawn mower motors and 3600 rpm and they will not last and after 24 hrs a day the manufacturer will say you abused it and not warranty it. Just ask all the people in Texas that got screwed over that deal. Just remember you get what you pay for and if it’s too good to be true, it’s not.

These are junk if you need something to run a month. Don’t buy a whole house Gen set with a lawn mower motor on it. These are made to run a few hours and that’s it. Get diesel 1800 rpm water cooled no air cooled, good luck

The narrative of this review is hilariously lame. Every time it said, "In my humble opinion...," as though the words were being spoken by a person, rather than being a digital construct that related "1 120/240V" as a fraction, I started cracking up. Was this a junior high school class project?
