Hi thanks for the video it’s really illustrating! May I ask you what type of fin my wife needs for a 5’5” classic EPX twinie? She is 1,56m and 50kg! We are a bit lost 😅

Have ya ever tried the 2+2 Endorfins, by Kelly Slater? Ho Stevie keel fin's? I've got a mate, that swears by them.

Yes I have tried both. The Endorfins felt too small and too light for me in a Firewire Mashup. The Ho Stevie keels had a plasticky feel and were a bit too flexlible for my size. They are very low price and would be fine for a small / light rider.

Which one should I try in my 5’5 lightbender I weigh 72kgs. Had Asher uprights and didn’t like how much it pivoted and didn’t like the feel of it. I’m used to keels. Currently riding vampirate hybrid keels in it

Hi Luke, I have not seen the Vampirate Hybrid Keels, but for your size and board length I'd be trying the A Mano or the Shapers Album Modern Keel

Great content! I agree twins are good but twinzer fins better. Shame you don’t have any fcs tins. I am am looking at the performer twin fcs2 since I’m 65kg and 167cm tall. Oh and I have two boards as twinzer’s and it’s the best of both the twin and tri..the happy medium of the two.

I think you are right! Twinzers are 🔥. I have tried one and loved it. Ever since I used the Kai quads Im sold on the canard setup. I'd like to try a Lovelace FM 7 8 and a Panda Shiitake next

Pretty sure the fin boxes are more forward on the Jim Banks, which would explain why it gets too loose with some fins. Those hooker fins extend way back

The boxes are 10 3/8 from the tail on my Jim Banks however and I have plenty of other boards with similar box placement that don't slide. Some have channels like my Fiji ( 10 1/2) and SJS Twin Pin (10 5/8 ) and they can both handle uprights. Usually the more forward you go with the box the more uprights are preferable. I'm pretty sure the low stringer and aggressive concaves within vee are contributing to the slide by deflecting plenty of water away from the centre of the board. I love the board and it needs a longer keel base to be happy.
