I think many looks on KZfaq, including these look too good. They look like a model dressing in all new clothes. And that draws attention to the clothes. The people dressing like this dont look natural they look dressed up which I think I is a bad look.

Well, I can tell you with certainty that I am not a model. These are my clothes--much of which I have had for three, four, five or more years. We take great care with our production--rolling lint, making sure things are styled right as I'd wear them--because we believe in creating a professional product, which our viewers have come to expect and enjoy. This is how I dress and I showcase my personal style on this channel. If it's not for you, that's fine with me. But don't make assumptions.

@@hespokestyleI dont think I made any assumptions and didn't mean it as an insult. Once on Andy Griffith show, Andy told Floyd he wanted a haircut but didn't want to look like he just got a haircut. That's kind of what I think with a lot of fashion on the internet, not just here. Things look too polished to me. If that makes sense. I would be avoiding the lint roller if the kind that uses sticky paper, can leave residue which just attracts worse. A garment brush works as well if not better (and I should know as the 100 pound mixed breed dog sheds fine fur in chunks twice a year). I brush as I undress so put back clean.

It’s a fair comment but everyday a guy stands outside my station smoking a cigarette shivering in sportswear! If he’d saved the £4000 a year he spends on the cigarettes and at least bought himself some quality boots and decent warm coat then he would be soo much better off to cope with the weather and being in a smart city. Just because everyone thinks one way! Doesn’t mean that they are right. The look at 07:00 looks like he can go off hiking so that is definitely not too dressed up! In fact he’s a underdressed especially if he’s walking around a city.

Your color combos are on point. Earth tones are always very calming and soothing. My go to colors as well. For Look 7, I wonder how it would look with a beige/light tan undershirt instead of grey, or a darker brown undershirt matches the camel color boots. Cheers 👌🏼

When it comes to boots, my go-to brands are Rockport and Timberlands. As a matter of fact I have a pair of yellowish tan Timberland Pro boots and brown Timberland chukka boots I sport with my blue or black demin jeans. I wish I had a photo of them both to show you.

I wear them bit more dressed up than you in the video, but I will have to try to pair them more casually, maybe with my new green Private White Harrington. Dear Brian, what to say, all these outfits are really outstanding. I admire your sense and philosophy of style as well as how you choose with discernment your pieces of clothing. My favourite outfit is the booted suit. The Sahara/Safari jacket is really cool and reminds me of Roger Moore as 007 in the Man with the golden gun in a scene (the colour tends more on a lighter beige though) and it is a very underrated choice in my opinion. A lighter version in linen will be on spot for summer and would easily be worn with a tie and formal pants. Thank you very much for your content. From Paris With Love !

@He Spoke Style You really do it properly IMO and that’s how the Internet should be used for. I learn a lot with you and your channel fosters us. Unfortunately, this is not always the case with other content creators and some aren’t really down to earth and honest and it leads to the downsides of the Internet. You talked about it in a video why I quit Instagram if I remember well and it’s true that we are constantly harassed on social media and your content makes me escape from this « pressurised » bubble. You built a community so far based on values like honesty quality and passion and it is a great achievement IMO. I imagine that it shouldn’t be always easy but as long as you keep it natural, it will always succeed. I believe that the best is yet to come for you Brian.

This was great. Beautifully styled, as always. I live in Canada where boots are a necessity 6 months of the year. I always take away a little something I can use from your videos. Unfortunately, I can’t afford $2k coats or $10k watches. I wonder if you could do a vid with tips for us mere mortals on your tips for looking good on a budget. Thanks! Your channel is wonderful.

I understand what you're saying, but know that I am featuring my own wardrobe here. I will sometimes put similar, less expensive items in the description as options--it is quite time consuming to source those links. I'm not trying to make excuses here, but when you see a video on this channel, you are looking at about 24 total hours of work behind it to create. Are there specific categories you're interested in having my opinion of great value for the money? Like suits, watches, shoes?

A Lardini! Did the waistcoat come with the little flower lapel pin as well? Also as a heavier guy, I've had some difficulty with boots because they all seem to make my feet look even larger and throw my proportions off. The only time I wore boots were for hiking, and I have tried high rise sneakers when I was younger but also ran into similar problems. Any advice for bigger guys like me? Anyway I really liked looks #4 and 5 for this video. I agree #4 is so very HSS. Very classic yet modern. #5 is almost the opposite but also fits the HSS ethos well I think. Great to see a Hamilton in your collection, a mixture from the more high end pieces you own but I think it adds to the look! All in all, great job yet again Brian! - Han

#early!! this is one of the only few times the outfits didn't pop for me. i like #4 the most. with every other outfit, i'd like to change up a thing or two - esp the hat (outfit #1) and the hiking boots. but hey, i am sure there will be ppl whose preferences will match yours more closely. looking forward to the next one. keep up the work, man. appreciate the effort and content!

Maybe a little insight and back story here and there when telling the stories of how you became interested in watches, shoes, clothes, fashion, etc. Maybe mention some things like how you came to make your money if that isn't too personal and things like that. You have an excellent and sophisticated vocabulary so mention how you became to be the brilliant distinguished man you are.
