I get them nonstop when I am not even close to any WalMart but can't get an order from Spark if I'm parked next to the loading door...My acceptance rate would be 10-15% higher if I didn't have to reject so many WalMart requests

the store has to pay fees for the order so they make less money. Then the drivers have to get paid. Basically the business model is useless. Uber and all of these delivery services have found a way to extract money from lazy people buying stuff they don’t need.

for a superbowl weekend, this weekend has been entirely filled with trash. $3-$5 everywhere. and a whole lot of +20miles orders for some reason.

On Sat and Sun I cruised the hottest hotspot I know at dinnertime and was barely even getting any trash offers before just shutting it down without taking anything

Superbowl Sunday was a complete waste of time. And then, the very first order I get on Monday morning in a $2.25 offer to deliver 7 drinks to a medical facility and the cheap customer did not leave a tip!!! My fault for accepting this low offer. I will not deliver to this customer ever again.

Facts. Ppl who respect the driver and service are willing to tip correctly to get their food. They also understand the feature if something is missing they can get a refund instantly.

No disrespect but when Uber first launched, the money was good. Then everybody and everyone they know decided to jump in and oversaturate the pool of drivers. Then Lyft came along with cheaper prices which forced Uber to do the same. Then businesses who don’t need to be on the platform also decided to jump in. This business model isn’t sustainable and will eventually crumble. Depending on people to tip you is asinine. If I gotta pay more in fees and tips than I did for the meal, I might as well go get it myself. Better yet, maybe I’ll go get something else instead.

I tried going out and I only two good orders. I got so pissed off with one restaurant. One of the staff members told it was going to have to wait 20 minutes since I just walked in. I told her sorry I ain't waiting that long.😂😂😂

Had a customer tell me they already tipped (I didn’t ask and didn’t expect one) so as I was finishing the order (was a merchant request) I asked if they wanted to see the tip they gave she said yes. So I showed her the final amount on the screen And told her I already knew it was a zero tip which it was. The merchant keeps the tip I told her. (I took the order it was a half mile for 3.75 I was home) She was surprised but she also got mad I’d taken her picture of delivery. I’d asked first and said ok. I told her ahead of time before taking. I told her I take pics on all deliveries and for her to get hostile was a red flag for me. I told her they were in her door dash file to prove she’d received her order. I know this would have been an I didn’t receive my order. GPS was wrong. Low pay. Hand it to me. No tip and irritated I’d captured the delivery. Everything was off but can’t say she didn’t get it I took more pics of her apartment etc.

These apps that still put out orders in the open for the first one to claim it, are unwittingly promoting scammers, but something tells me that they don't give a flying F so long as the order gets delivered.

I am hoping that the terrible stretch had something to do with Valentine's Day...I think many people chose to celebrate the weekend before instead of on Wednesday or the following weekend, PLUS it was unseasonably warm AF in my market and all the sitdown restaurants were overflowing AF

Super Bowl Sunday yes agreed it was complete trash. And I got baited a total of 18+ miles from a hidden double order. They hide the second mileage! I should have known by the 45 mins. Lost money on that delivery.

I did a dirty double today. Took a UE order with a good tip and a DD with no tip but decent miles to dollars. She was texting me after a couple minutes on the road like “Are you on your way to (insert business name)” I’m thinking yeah after I deliver this tipped order you’ll get your no tip order. I didn’t say anything I didn’t even see the message until later. Both orders were only a little over a mile so she really only waited maybe 6 minutes extra.

I never use Uber Eats or any of those services. I can tell you why as a driver it's bad. Between the high prices of takeout, the tip and the fee, a Big Mac meal could cost almost $30. I can eat restaurant quality at home for a 5th of the price..

I did a little research online on how to make restaurant quality burgers and fries and I tried quite a few recipes before I got it right. Now whenever I make a purchase at a fast food restaurant, I cringe when I take a bite out of it because it's so awful! I can't believe I ate that junk for years and somehow liked it. But I'll gladly deliver the restaurant fast food to those that enjoy them though.
