I can't think of a single thing that could go wrong :) Pretty crazy setup.

We use a DeckLink Duo 2 at church. I was surprised to see DIN plugs on the card instead of BNC. BNC is a chunky connector though, so may not have room for 8 on the card. Honestly, getting 2x Duo 2 cards would cost about the same and gives 4 BNC plugs. Costs another PCIe slot, but maybe worth it. SDI is used by professionals. The 1 extra plug is for timing sync. The card is also designed for redundancy, which is why they're spaced out oddly... Every 2 ports is used by 1 camera by default. One of the biggest advantaged to SDI though, is the long range. You could easily run that coax 100+ ft and not lose any signal. That's harder to do with HDMI. Also, SDI cables are expensive, but only because of the special connectors. An RG6 coax cable is cheap, so you can save a lot of $$ by learning how to crimp BNC connectors. There are F-type to BNC, but don't be deceived... Not as reliable as crimping the right connector. I guess if you're crimping BNC, you could probably just crimp DIN on one end and save more $. And, sorry.... I don't know of any cheaper HDMI to SDI adapters. I'd love to find one though!

The GoPro 7 Black does not have a 1080 60P output. It's only 30fps. The GoPro 3 Black was the last GoPro with true 60P output. Even the newer GoPros with Media Mod only support 1080 30fps. Your PC may recognize 1080 60P because the GoPro doubles the images.

Have you ever used DIN connections before those cameras? I have a background in IT, so I know quite a few connectors, but maybe it's move A/V connectors? Interestingly they look like the old PS/2 connectors you used to use for keyboard/mouse before USB

I'm not super sure if it would just work no issue, but I'm getting a sonnet allegro 8 port type c card, and I bet you could do the same with that card and no converter. Again, don't know for sure, but i feel like obs could just tank this potentially
