I just bought my first pair of skates - Moxi Panthers, because my favorite style skater rides Moxis - she skates the boardwalks in So Cal, etc. After watching your video, I think I’d say she’s a rhythm skater, and it’s what I want to do too! So excited to start working on more of these moves. I’ve already been working on bubbles, crossing over, and walking-in-place. Working up to transitions. Love this! I’m very new to skating (started last August) and have no history with the sport or the culture, so I love your advice of getting to know about the history of skating. Before getting into skating, I had no idea there were so many styles and regional flares on skating. It put a lot of things into context when I started learning about various ways to roll. I’m still just learning my basics so not sure where I want to eventually go, but for now just learning about different types of skating has been really exciting! I was never good at anything athletic, but skating is one area I’m determined to really put effort into growing and learning. 🥰 Thanks for sharing your wisdom!

Thank you for sharing this! Your story resonates with me. I totally got five wheel Bauer inline skates in high school, sometimes skating 3-4 times a week in the rink. My family would go to midnight rollers every week and skate around San Fransisco taking over the streets. I wanted to do every kind of inline skating. I would use the quad rentals every once in a while, but really didn’t get into quads till last year, and I’m in love. I’ve been skating everyday and I can see so much improvement.

Fantastic tutorial with amazing tips! After skating for 11 years, I'm not the biggest fan of beginners for beginners tutorials myself.

Not sure how I made it to your KZfaq channel but so glad I did. Found my way back to skating due to pandemic life and have been enjoying it thus far. I like to learn all that I can about physical activities so that I can perform them well and with good technique. I feel this helps to minimize injury. Thank you for all the excellent content and I have definitely subscribed to your channel.

@@Dunbeezytv still learning how to actually skate! But I definitely wanna look into history and dance styles, since I didn't know I wanted to dance and skate at the same time 🤗

I’ve been off the skate grid for 3 years! I’m ready to get back to the wood. I feel like have to learn to get comfortable all over again. This helps 👍🏽
