When we’re stressed we automatically tighten our upper back, neck, and shoulders. Yep, it happens as subconsciously as breathing or blinking your eyes.
The problem is if your muscles stay tense for too long, vital life force energy (Qi) rapidly drains from your body or gets stuck and stagnant.
Thankfully, this 8-minute Qi Gong routine helps release tension in your upper back, neck, and shoulders to get your Qi flowing again. As you practice the routine, you’ll likey notice tension melting from your muscles and your “energetic battery” being recharged.

I am 70 and I have always kept my stress on the right side of my neck I did this exercise once and I noticed I could raise my hands over my head with no discomfort Later on I noticed i could do my arm exercises with less pain and was able to do all the reps.Definitely going to continue this exercise

I've done Qi Gong with several teachers, and Lee is one of my favorites. He makes this "ancient Chinese secret" so accessible that just a few minutes a day really help.

My friend wanted me to comment for her. She was screaming in pain from the nerves on the right side of her neck. She discovered your video literally through tears as her pain was through the roof. After doing this video, , her pain was GONE! she woke up PAIN FREE too!!! she has forward head posture and bike rides and also is involved with two emotionally abusive people, she didn't realize how much tension she truly carries. As a monthly subscriber I recommend anyone who is interested to join! Qi Gong with Lee has totally changed my body for the better - releases tension, muscle aches and increases flexibility. I used to do super intense workouts but this works so much better for my body!!

Happy to find this! I started Accupuncture with a wonderful accupuncturist who does QiQong while tapping in needles and then she does QiQong over me. Your videos/class is a welcome bonus. I have metastatic breast cancer which started in my bones and metastasized to my liver 2 1/2 yrs ago. I am a warrior and will beat this!!!!💪🏻 Thanks for sharing your expertise! 💗🙏🏻

Since Trump and Malania "came down the escalator" I feel like I am having a melt-down and could star in a remake of Michael Douglas' movie Falling Down, but I wouldn't be acting. Wow! I really enjoyed this exercise. It was the perfect length, easy, relaxing and I'm still chilled out as I write this. My BP was 160/99 before and 133/89 after. I'm more than impressed, seriously thinking of enrolling in your class.

I have been suffering with cervical dystonia since my early 30's and now am in my sixties. This is an awful movement disorder where you neck muscle involuntarily spasm and move your head to the side. Extremely painful 100% of the time. I push through it because I don't want to sit on the sidelines of life. I currently have large doses of Botox injected in my neck by my Neurologist every 3 months and it help a little for a short while. It is the only know treatment other than a very invasive surgery to cut the nerves in your neck and parts of the brain. I am trying to avoid the drugs as they just make you very lethargic and they don't stop the muscle spasms. I just started doing your exercises and stretched and I believe it is helping a lot. Thank you for sharing this! May I kindly ask you to look into Cervical Dystonia (formally called Spasmodic Torticollis) and see if QiGong has anything specific to help with this terrible disease?

I started learning about Chi QiGong almost 10 years ago from a few Lee Holden videos and he is great! Chi Qigong has really helped me to calm my body when I'm stressed 🙂.
