Super dame ko talaga natututunan sayo sa pagaalaga ng aking mga ornamentao plants. Kaya I was able to re arrange my garden para ma ilagay ko sila sa tamang place to get the proper shades and sunlight they needed. Kaya alam ko na ngaun kung alin ang plants ang nasa shades alin ang dapat nasa initan.

I find it really difficult growing calatheas and taking care of my few varieties of calatheas is really a struggle for me. This is the reason why i stop buying calatheas and maintain only few varieties i have with me. Hehhee. I'll try some of the tips you mentioned and i hope it will bring back may interest to collect calatheas.

After watching you and Al Gatmaitan, you both inspired me to enjoy plants more. When I see you I see and hear Al in you. When I see Al I see and hear Bechoy in him. I hope you meet each other. I agree with you with the potting mix. It has to be right.

A tip I’ve found from another plant KZfaqr is using a diluted fertiliser goldleaf it can lesson the effect of tap water on caleathea’s I have a medium sized orbifola - which I find have to water at least twice a week otherwise it begins to droop towards the end of the week. My maranta - prayer plant I can throw anything at it and it is fine. I water this one once a week keep out of direct sunlight and it constantly blooms for me.

Agree i use normal soil din sa mga calathea & konting rice hull. They hold water longer which is gusto nila & it normally won't cause root rot. They're growing well with not much maintenance.

Hi Sir Betchoy, some of the Calatheas you presented from your collection po are not calathea genus anymore. Like Orbifolia that are classified as part of Geoperttia genus now, the red marantha is ofcourse part of Marantha, some of them are Ctenanthe, Stromanthe etc... Nevertheless they are still part of Marantacaea Family 🤗😘 God bless you po

this was a very helpful vlog since i am into calatheas.. but i tend to kill them because of incorrect caring for them. thank u for this. ill keep this in mind always.

calatheas were my first batch of plants.. and they were the first batch to die din. 😔 too late ko nabasa how to take care of them, nadala ko sa bugso ng damdamin, ganda kase nila, i ordered online agad 😅 , and then i searched paano alagaan, boom,fuzzy pala! na pre empt na ko kaagad😅 #1 tip : kilalanin muna maigi ang plant bago bilhin, anyways.. there's always a first time 😅 nahuli kse vlog mo sir! 😜✌️happy planting sir bechoy ☘️❤️

I agree with frequent transferring of plants. It destroys the leaves of calatheAs. They grow well if they are clumped together to retain humidity. And true- caterpillars are annoying! Isa pa Sir is grasshopper!
