The "vasen vieras / oikea oma" is similar to a saying in English: "Righty tighty, lefty loosey." This is useful if you're trying to loosen or tighten a bolt, and you've never touched a wrench before in your life.

Katya, I notice that your video hasn't been flipped, so especially when you are teaching the direction words in this video, the direction words "left" and "right" are all opposite to the directions which your gestures are expressing.
