Was at the bar the other day seen a 1%er he started conversation with me all good vibes good laughs had a few drinks invited me to a bbq at his house. Respect goes a long way💯💯💯

The biggest myth I have found is that you cannot talk to a 1%er. I am an officer in a one piece patch club. Something I think is universally true, be it 1%, 99%, lone wolf, independent, riding club, stunt rider, off road, whatever. If you own a motorcycle, you love talking about it. That is how I have learned that 1%ers are really not that different. Just people who like to ride and be treated with respect.

Talking about respect and manners. I almost kicked off at a waiter. I'm a chef I'm just doing online training and picking up extra hours as a cleaner in the same venue. Me always hi bye is respect you never know who you're talking to. Just looked at him smiled and shook my head. He just bit the hand that Will feed him on his break 😂 silly man. I have had mad opportunities because I respect everyone no matter the job title.

@@alexpoulin7382 I was talking about experiencing heavy combat where your buddies get half their head shot off right next to you and your head is really screwed up when you get out the 1% look out for each other and are very loyal just like soldiers in a combat situation that can really help with head problems. I'm ex military not a 1% but have a lot of respect for the one's I've met.

That #4 myth cracked me up!I was a Surveyor and Manager at several bridge and tunnel and high rise companies in the mid-Atlantic for 25 years. I worked along side a lot of fully patched guys and affiliates over the years and one day I asked a crane operator and fully patched dude why they were so over represented in our industry. He just laughed and said the pay was good and I should see what his monthly dues were! Anyway, keep up the good work, cheers!

Been in my Club for 7 years now I'll tell you guys it calmed me down alot when I was riding with non MC guys it was like they always had something to prove clubs don't act like that it's also about being a part of something that's bigger than just you and you don't want to disappoint your brothers

My first day as a "friend of the Club" it was clearly explained, if we use this title, even as a friend, your actions represent ALL OF US! Actions having consequences goes a long way to taming that wild ass attitude a lot of us had. Same conversation was had before "Hang-around" status. Also, from day 1, my wife was treated like a Queen. Disrespect of OLs is something I've never seen tolerated. If someone treats your wife or GF like that, they're testing YOU! They don't think you've got the wiring for the life. Just my 2 cents.

In the 1970s and 1980s outlaw biker culture British bikes were also allowed because they were our allies in WW2. Another detail about the original outlaw bikers (my grandfather was one of them) is that a lot of them wore patches that they cut off of dead German soldiers. There are certain symbols that must be backed up with a service record or there will be severe consequences.

I really hope someone can answer this because I genuinely want to know the answer to this. What’s the deal with clubs not letting other motorcyclists pass while on the highway or city roads? Why do some club riders get upset? I don’t understand why some try to block people if they are going slow? Is there a “proper” way to pass their group or is this just an absolute no go when it comes to passing them.

It’s about respect you should always ask to pass .
@zachhaag7854
@zachhaag7854 3 ай бұрын
There is definitely a proper way to pass usually by giving space and letting the guy in the back know you want to pass they will usually relay the message and wave you by at some point and as far as why they don't want you to pass is partly because they don't know how you ride or what your intention is they have no trust in you like they do the guy 6 inches from them so you fly up beside them and screw up or cut through the middle of the group you just wrecked yourself and 20 guys

Good info Sose...I would've brought up politicking.... you have to understand wading the waters. It's not on sight at all times. It's War, not a battle. Also you want to come across as good people and somewhat tolerant. Like Teddy Roosevelt said "walk softly but carry a big stick".... no man is better than the next and that thinking will end your clubs existence

then the Japanese went back and started their own outlaw japnaese bike club calutre called the "bosozuko" this also carrys over into their car culture with bosozuko culture with kaido racer cars , normally toyota crestas or ealri nissan skyline ken marys coverted with wide wide body and like the Bikes they use and exceptionaly long exhaust piped rangin between 3-7 feet tall with a crazy 12-13 inch wheels size and stretch tire , now im all down for the canadian/american outlaw clubs its where my hart is, but I do have a kownlegde of cars and that scene brings me into the JDM scene whcih if you learn about the japanese car culture you learn about bosozuko

Is it true about when joining a motorcycle club & you want to be one of those members who wants plausible deniability? To put into better detail what I mean by that is when you're a member & you do not want to get into or know about the criminal activities that are in a motorcycle club another members will will keep you out of it so you can have plausible deniability. Because that's what Jesse Ventura had when he was a member in the Mongols Motorcycle Club when he talked about it in The Joe Rogan Experience.

I don't know if this is myth but I grow up with a crew in my home town. We rode together as kids. Dirt bikes mainly. Thay started there Mc I was a member even though I didn't ride anymore respect I still ride but not as a mc but they do have my back. I don't have a patch I ride for my self if that makes sense

While this isn't necessarily true for all, the biggest myth concerning these people is in not noticing that the term "outlaw" is a misnomer due to the fact that outlaws do not engage in litigation. They don't incorporate, copyright or patent which allows groups like the Hells Angels to prosecute anyone for copyright infringement if they dare to use the words "Hells Angels" without their express written permission. Ignoring the laws of an entire country while expecting everyone in that same country to not only follow the rules, regulations, codes etc. of a particular group of bikers, but to somehow automatically know these rules without any of these rules being published for public consumption is the epitome of hypocrisy and a double standard to say the least. Bikers would rather not be confronted with these unpleasant realities, and will never care as long as they're able to maintain whatever image they're completely invested in cultivating. It isn't bad enough that we have an overwhelming number of burdensome laws to deal with without some group of bikers coming up with special rules, regulations, codes manners, etiquette pronouns etc. to follow just so they can feel respected.

The one myth/truth that gets me is the infamous "beat down". I understand knowing that ur "brothers " are loyal and solid and wont back down...But, I've had friends for decades that have proved themselves a million times over and we've Never felt the need to kick the shit out of each other to prove it. Just something about surrounding a potential "brother" and intentionally throwing the fists and boots to him to show loyalty reminds me of the bullshit gangs always bragged about doin. The old movie "Blood in blood out" comes to mind with that. I understand if something comes up that you need to box it out , sure...but the myth of takin a beating (or more) to become "Family"... I've heard this for decades and know of its truth with some diamond clubs, but...would seriously like to get your opinion/explanation on this topic...maybe help squash this myth or explain its origin, its truth.
