you need to look up danny lyon and the book this movie is based on. the outlaws back then actually let him into the lifestyle and even earn a full patch so that he could photograph and interview them. and the movie tells a story by piecing together those interviews so a lot of the events actually happened including that ending you didnt like

I had a Fat Boy for 2 months and traded it for a Road Glide. Was wanting storage, cruise control, and a fairing. Even though I was new I got used to the Road glide weight quickly, although I did really like the Fat Boy too but didn’t check all the boxes.

I created a bikie gang called The Pink Ladies. It hasn't really taken off ... so far I'm the only member.

I had a honda vtx 1800, size wise it's comparable to a road or street glide. I am 5'10 150 pounds and handled that bike well. never dropped it. don't let a bigger bike discourage you, if you know how to ride and understand how to use the throttle and clutch to maneuver at slow speeds. you really can ride anything. cheers

One time when I was in prison, a bunch of Hells Angels started to get heavy with me ... until I told them that my ride on the outside was a Yamaha XT250. At that point they became very afraid and quickly backed off. They never bothered me again. 👍

I'm 5'7 140lbs been riding since I was 10. Started with dirtbikes as a kid first street bike was an 05 CBR 600 RR. Totaled it, loved that bike speed wobble will get ya of your not careful. 2nd bike 93 sportster 883 1200 conversion. Rode the tires off that thing, sold it. 3rd bike still have 02 883 custom 1200 conversion. Bike I have now 08 CVO road king. I'll say the sportster doesn't move much anymore, it'll be a good starter bike for my boy

I always respect your perspective. You said it started off wrong. You have to remember that club started almost 60yrs ago in the movie. And it wasn’t a true 1% club at that time. I just turned 50. And looking back at how many things are completely different. To further prove my point, the journalist was embedded with them and wrote the book. So even though they had 1% patches on, they weren’t a 1% club in the definition we use now. It’s no different than having the media embedded with us at the start of 9/11. Now we don’t allow them. And lastly, I think most people might have missed the subtle hint at the very end. When Kathy looks out the window at Benny, and ahead of says everything is better now, Benny has a sideways smile. I personally believe that they both know that Benny deleted the kid that took out Johnny. But, I will say this. When they showed up for the fight, I told my wife it’s going sideways. If someone challenged me like that, they wouldn’t have been able to gun the weapon. I’d have a very accurate friend watching over me.

I always assumed a criminal offense and conviction was a criteria for a diamond. I do think actual respect means just what I assumed.
