Granted, some of the ways shown to dive into a pool were inventive and looked fun, but please never ever stand in your tail. Unless you want it to go kaput.

I'd be really careful jumping into the pool 'cannonball' style in a tail; you could snap your monofin. Also, any of these that slide against the side of the pool are only good if that surface is smooth and won't snag/rip your tail. Cute video though!

I'd love some tips and tricks on how to get out if it's high to the edge! :O Last spring, I had a show at a harbour, where I went in the water there, and it was about 2 ft. from the surface of the water, to the edge of the lowered platform that I jumped in from, and I had some friends help pull me out of the water, but the next day, the tide had left, so I had to sit on the edge and not go in the water, 'cause with a distance of 4-5 ft. to the edge, they wouldn't be able to get me up! :O Could really use some tips on that for future shows, thanks! :D
