What is Mermaid Swimming?
AquaMermaid school is a fun way to keep fit! It is a new sport where you will transform into graceful mermaids. You will learn how to swim with a mermaid tail while getting a great core workout. Before you can glide through the water, you will learn monofin and synchronized swimming techniques. The class concludes with a time to take photos. Be ready for unique and fun activity with your friends! It is a great idea for birthday and bachelorette parties.

Thank you for showing Dominic (sorry for not knowing the spelling)! Not only is he a merman, but he wears a shirt as well as his tail. I'm not very skinny, I'm very uncomfortable with myself but I've always wanted to get a tail and have fun at the beach or a pool, entertaining kids and such. I always thought you would have to wear a mermaid bra to look the part and I would really rather not, being seeing someone wearing a shirt whilst swimming? That makes me feel so happy, I don't have to show off my torso if I don't feel comfortable with doing so! You can still look amazing covered up too :) 💙

Nia The Elf same with me! Don’t really feel comfortable in a bikini. Honestly, if people weren’t as judgmental, I wouldn’t have that problem, but it’s great to see someone else who feels the same!

You need special training for that. To hold your breath longer. It could take a few years.

I have some tips to swim with a tail on 1: use a pool noodle with your head up and swim with the tail on 2:if you can’t hold your breath long use goggles 🥽 3: Just be happy with a tail 🤪

EquineLeaf3, agreed, I can't open my eyes underwater yet lol I use goggles but I am in the learning progress. I ordered a tail from Swimtails it is a premium tail called the glitter sparkles tail, it is on clearance sale right now.

I am a #lasvegasMermaid and I love it how as a teen there are older people in Las Vegas where they made there dream come true like how I want to do. I dream of being a mermaid and i am looking into new classes so i am definitely going to try it out.

I ordered a mermaid tail not too long ago it should be coming soon I'm very excited I've been watching these videos and much more just so I can know how to do it and I feel like things not to do as a mermaid or like what you want to do as a mermaid I got it all down and I used to actually swim like one like have my feet together and do the dolphin kick so I know everything about it but I don't know about taking it as a professional but I really want the kids around me to see it and be very excited cuz I love the look on their faces it's amazing once I just wore a monofin and they were amazed so do you have any advice on how to like take that extra step to make it look better

I also have a mermaid tail, but one time when i was swimming some kid just swam up to me and started touching my tail and accidently hit my nose so hard it hurted a lot and it only happened when my 2nd grade teacher came and it hurted a lot, but some how it didn’t start bleeding?(i to was also confused)

I always hear mention of the weight of silicon tails, but what about buoyancy? At 35+#, it seems as if it couldn't be completely negative or the wearer would sink like a rock nor completely positive or they would just pop up like a cork. At a completely neutral buoyancy, then it would be klunky outside the water, but in the water that mass would only be additional inertia, both stationary and moving.
