I liked the example with the leaves best simply because I bought the leaves dies & then couldn’t think of but one way to use them. 🤪

You could also take the cut blue diamonds that you used to stencil and glue it on top of the pink diamonds stenciled from the die. TFS

I like to stamp an image then die cut it and piece in to the outline in a different pattern or color

I really like what you are doing here! Gina K explained you can use a stencil as a stamp as well and combine the two. At 13.00 min. You used the die as a stencil leaving wide gaps in between the triangles. What if you would then use the same background die as a stamp as well. I think that would work to fill up the empty spaces.

Funny to call them cover plate dies. I've always called them EITHER cover plates or cover dies. A cover plate (to me) creates a texture (or impression), such as pinpricks resulting in some image like leaves or balloons or whatever, while a cover die cuts out stuff like a regular die, only the result is generally more overall without requiring multiple cuts. Really, any die can be a cover die (although if it doesn't have much fine detail, the final result may look a bit weird!)😂
