Enjoyed this video, really useful and happily I do own the Mariposa butterfly dies which are indeed beautiful. I often forget to add shadows and contrast with black and white. Thank you Lou. x

You did a get job! My plastic pouches always get stuck inside machine when theres not paper in there with it. Ever have that issue?

This is great. Love the effect. You could also use gauze, or plasterer's scrim (I use a lot of this in my mixed media art) - in fact anything fibrous and fine that will stick to the embossing. I also have a box where I save my sewing and embroidery thread scraps, including bits of gold. These would work well, I think.
