In my opinion, this is the best Batman game in terms of character and gameplay, the boss fights have to be some the most thrilling I've played in a Batman game and just games in general. And the arcs Batman and Joker had were amazing, I know this is seen as the weakest entry in the series but it's the best in my opinion. This will sound crazy but the other Arkham games seriously lacked the character this game had, these versions had actual arcs, and the voice acting was far superior in this game. I know I'll get plain ass comments that say "No." but this is the best Arkham game to me and I don't give a shit what other people think about it. Thanks for posting!

Couldn't agree more, even the new one didn't give me the same thrill this did I knew what was going to happen there from the start... This game clicked on all levels and thank god for rocksteady laying the groundwork
@ProjectV6

YES! This game was genuinely thrilling, I knew everything that was going to happen in Arkham Knight because I was familiar with the comics and because they kept doing these flashbacks to Jason Todd so I could imagine if I wasn't familiar with the backstory, I would know where this was all going. As much as I love the Joker, I felt he kind of over stayed his welcome with Arkham Knight, like he was KIND OF being forced in there although I guess it made sense. :-/ I'm sorry but despite the great voice acting for the game, I felt like there wasn't much character development for Batman or Joker across all the other game apart from a few small scenes, they essentially stayed the same unless there was some stuff I didn't pick up on but I'm pretty astute. But I do enjoy all the games but Arkham Knight was the worst with those stupid tank battles, like THAT is your main gameplay focus? Ugh. You're totally right about this game (Origins) clicking on ALL levels, it was honestly the best Batman experience, you got to literally be a detective with the crime scene reconstructions, the Batcave really made it feel complete and those Shock Gloves? OMG, the fighting got a tad bit stale so they threw in the best incentive to keep on trucking in fights with those SHOCK GLOVES! I loved those things, and I really wish they bought those back in Knight! But oh well...they could have at least brought back the glue grenades! And have you heard about Arkham Insurgency? I really hope that still happens! It's weird how some (not all) video game prequels are better than the critically acclaimed/fan loved predecessors, Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel is (again, in my opinion) is FAR better than Borderlands 2, I don't know if you've played those games but I thought the fact that the protagonists actually F'ing talk in scenes that weren't just gameplay triggered parts, they actually gave insights into their character and it added SO much more to the story as you found out how certain things affected them as people: Wilhlem and Nischa didn't give a shit (that was pretty funny how little they cared) while it really bothered Athena and Dopple Jack from a moral based standpoint, the story meant more to you because of how it effected your character, it was quite beautifully done. And really, what effected Zero and Maya as characters? What forced THEM to break their silence...having their voice change, they talked then...and a FEW other DLC's but it was quite minimal then. Honestly, if Jack and Angel weren't in BL2, I wouldn't have liked it at all. The companies who make the prequel games added stuff that was missing from their respective predecessors that made me say: "Yeah! Why didn't they have that in the original game?" and they really win big time :-) Thanks for actually talking reasonable with me cause I really do try to have thoughtful conversations about video games with people in the comment section and most of the time, they use their caps lock and swear to make arguments instead of just talking because if you like something they don't like or if you have opposing views, they get so hostile so you were quite refreshing lol

@@ProjectV6 Can't imagine how i missed such an epic comment for so long, I do apologize for that as I try to always read every comment since my channel never tends to get more than a few per day across the over 5000 videos I've got uploaded so it's not very hard to keep up to date with any new comments & I always try to respond whenever there's reason to and there's no question your post is quite likely the largest my channel has ever seen so I haven't a clue how I entirely missed it originally. Oh well better late than never eh? lol. I totally get what you're saying about borderlands and I totally agree although I haven't put nearly as much time into either game, I started a Gunzerker in b2 on PS3 but playing solo felt like a chore & as a result I didn't get very far, I got pre-sequel on PS3 as well but never actually got around to playing it for myself however I've watched a ton of gameplay from both titles to see the story beats, funny moments, etc. & it's not even close how much more character the pre-sequel has in comparison to b2, I mean if it weren't for Handsome Jack constantly harassing the player over the radio the game wouldn't have had any life to it whatsoever. I've got the Handsome Jack collection now though for PS4 that was actually one of the 1st 4 games I picked out when I originally got my PS4 Pro as when Final Fantasy 15 came out I had no choice but to finally jump into the latest console generation & I couldn't have picked a better time what with the pro console having just been launched I was so glad I waited as long as I did cuz if I'd bought a regular PS4 anytime in the previous year only to find out about a significantly improved version was right around the corner I'd not likely have been a happy camper, but it worked out. The day I got my PS4Pro I dug around in the bargain bin to see what I could snap up on the cheap, so I picked up the aforementioned HJ Collection, the pair of Metro titles remastered with 2033 seeing a PS release for the 1st time, Dragon Age: Inquisition since I heard about the PS3 version I played the crap out of for my channel wasn't getting the final DLC packs missing out entirely on the final important it of narrative, still want to finish my walkthrough of that since i can import my save from PS3 to PS4 there shouldn't be any trouble picking up where I'd left off. And finally the last of 4 titles I bought alongside my shiny new console was the only title I didn't already own on PS3 & was my 1st purely PS4 game, and that title was Mad Max & what a surprise that turned out to be, such a satisfying gameplay loop with rock solid mechanics taking some of the best parts of similar titles (like the combat from Arkham) and weaving them altogether masterfully to create such a brilliant experience, severely underrated title IMO but it'll always hold a special place of prominence for me as it was the 1st PS4 game I had that wasn't a remake or remaster of something I already owned & I wasn't expecting much out of it and ended up being very impressed by so much of the game, the controls are so tight and everything in the game just works so perfectly well, it doesn't serve to break much new ground but with everything they managed to stitch together into a cohesive whole being of such high quality it's a perfect example of a finished product being far greater than the sum of it's parts. One final note as another game came to mind regarding your original point & that's bioshock, most specifically part 2, even more, more specifically, Minervas Den but my praise for the game encompasses the whole package. it's message board suicide to suggest that this black sheep of the trilogy could very well be the best of them but when it comes right down to it, it kinda is. Also Yakuza: Dead Souls is my favorite in the franchise despite it having such godawful horrendous controls & being widely considered the worst of the series by pretty much everyone aside from me. lol. Well now as it took me 2 years to notice you took the time to post an epic narrative for my benefit, I wont feel too put off if ya don't happen to notice for a year or so before replying to my counter epic narrative. Anytime before 2022 would be totally understandable, but if it's any later than that well... better late than never brother, always have a blast when I can get into a longwinded discussion about games on my channel in my comments section, too many channels get some seriously toxic commentors that ruin the experience for those of us with a real passion for gaming culture & a love of sharing that sentiment with anyone who'll take the time to engage and listen. Love peace & chicken grease!!! :)

The developers should made this fight as a time attack, as Alfred said, you need to beat Bane within 10 minutes or he will be unbeatable, causing a game over.

So I thought this is the best place to ask: Is the time limit real? During this fight, Alfred comes in ever so often and tells me that I have to defeat Bane within ten minutes. Is that real? Is there a game over automatically after ten minutes?
