You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown, based on the stage musical of the same name, is one of the few specials where Snoopy talks throughout. Like Garfield, his voice were usually vocalizing his thoughts. In this special, he was voiced by Robert Towers. A few years later, there would be another musical adaptation called Snoopy: The Musical, with Snoopy's voice provided by veteran voice actor, Cam Clarke (the original voice of Leonardo in the 1980s TMNT cartoon). These two specials mark the only time Snoopy openly talked in the specials.

November 2, 1985. I know exactly where I was that day, at the long-gone Castle Park in Hawaii. Arcade, bumper boats, go-carts, miniature golf, carnival rides, and pizza.

I remember having that fisher price AM/FM radio with microphone back in the day. My mother didn’t buy it for me until one year later when I turned eight years old.

I was in my old apartment in Brooklyn living with my parents!! Carefree eating cereal, waiting for the afternoon to hang out with my friends and ride bike to Coney Island! Dam. I miss those days!

0:35 Core memory unlocked. I haven't seen the commercial for the Fisher Price AM FM Radio in almost 40 years, but once I saw it today I was singing along with that kids as if I saw it yesterday. Sounds much more cringe than I remembered though.

Transformable robots were such a thing that Corn Pops had their own!!! But I couldn't be more excited when the Charlie Brown & Snoopy show was on! Every WEEK and not on holiday specials anymore! They were also using the newer CBS commercial bumpers at the time while the rest of the shows were using the ones from previous seasons.

9:31 - While LJN is mostly notorious for the largely mediocre to terrible video games they published (not developed), their toys were usually pretty good. These Thundercat figures look pretty darn detailed and accurate.

Having the end credits be silent for that long is a glitch, regardless if it was caused by CBS or the local affiliate.
