Ironically, this movie did not perform well at the box office, so having "bomb" in the title is fitting)

Promo for "The Return Of The King" (The sequel to Rankin Bass' "The Hobbit" animated TV movie from 1977, this isn't remotely as good as that...but it has some memorable moments, especially the incredible "Where There's A Whip" song: • Where there's a whip, ... I feel like they were also trying to bring a satisfying conclusion to Ralph Bashki's "The Lord Of The Rings" 1978 animated movie, which only adapted the first two books and did not receive a sequel. I wish they had ignored Bashki's strange LOTR movie entirely and made their own versions of "The Fellowship Of The Ring" and "The Two Towers", as their ROTK movie feels strange and unfinished without having extremely important characters such as Aragorn given a proper introduction. Mounds And Almond Joy- Impressive seeing how well a commercial for something as simple as a candy bar capture the feel of various movies from the 80’s that take place in a school, such as “The Breakfast Club” even before they were made. Crocker Bank- I want that Crocker Spaniel plushie in this commercial and I’m not sure why. Kellogg’s Honey And Nut Corn Flakes- That is one substantial pat of butter on the toast next to the cereal bowl of this cereal at 6:09.

That Nude Bomb promo makes me wish we could have had a live action Inspector Gadget movie with Don Adams. Would be preferable to the one we got with Matthew Broderick.

I think if my mom came in with a camera while I was sick in bed, I would disown her. You know that photo is going to be an endless source of bullying and embarrassment for that kid.

That ad is definitely a museum piece, from the days before the measles-mumps-rubella vaccine. I'm sure the antivaxxers look at this and say "See! Mumps wasn't so bad for kids! So their jaws puffed up! So what?" Well, what they don't mention is that this little boy might have grown up and learned he couldn't father children...not that everyone wants kids but he should still have the option, right? Besides, why would you want your mom taking a picture of you looking like that?

@trudimarrapodi6722 The antivax position is probably based mainly on the fact that younger generations never had to deal with diseases like this or know anyone their age who did...because you generally must have these shots to go to public school. They don't see a need to prevent something they've never had a reason to fear. Once diseases like polio start making a comeback in pockets of the U.S. maybe they'll change their tune.

Enjoli-classic jingle Mounds/Almond Joy-cast of the new comedy,"Candy High"..with Larry B.Scott @ 1:53 and Mr.Whittendale from The Jeffersons as the principal! Three's Company-Jack would never survive being on Food Network Taxi-Louie should never have made a bet with Latka Hart To Hart-with the Killer Chef ?😱 The Nude Bomb-a.k.a The Return Of Maxwell Smart when it made it's broadcast television premiere on NBC Laverne & Shirley-couldn't picture them on Food Network either 😂 Burger King-their version of McDonald's"Daddy's Little Girl" ad Charlie's Angels-it's a Dallas crossover! Thankfully the love triangle isn't with J.R 😆 Vega$-she could've tried to dive out of the way That's Incredible End Credits-with a cameo by Johnny "The Human Torch"Storm on a ski trip

What an ending on the Almond Joy/Mounds ad! Impressive. Almost like the ALP logo at the end of That's Incredible! Most cereal seems pretty ambitious for the early 80s but it's got all that "health" stuff down!
