Wow, I remember Night Flight, and those Pepsi commercials are TV history! I remember that fix-it ad also, mainly because I remember my dad redoing the bathroom while reading that book.

I miss the old USA Network. Someone should bring back Night Flight/Radio 1990 to cable. At least there would be something decent to watch on tv.

When I see Alfonso Ribeiro doing the "moonwalk", all I can picture is Carlton from FRESH PRINCE doing the "Carlton Dance"! lol

@Brieannas21 It says directly in the promo what her major accomplishments were. She starred in the film version of "Fame" (And sung the theme song) and also wrote/sang the theme to "Flashdance".

those Pepsi ads are American treasures it's funny to hear about "the hippest New Wave' & "Billie Jean being a current hit those bathing suit ladies are sure lookers!

0:11 and 5:07--Thanks to these commercials, I still associate the song "Billie Jean" with Pepsi after all these years. 0:42--On the other hand, I don't seem to remember ELO's "Hold On Tight" being used to promote coffee. 4:25--Sadly, Irene Cara passed away not too long ago. She was a member of the "Short Circus" group on The Electric Company in its first season, and many of her sketches were reused in later seasons. She is probably best known as the singer of the theme songs from "Flashdance" and "Fame" in the early 80's,

@80sCommercialVault Ok, I just don't remember her at all. From the promo they were making her out to be some big up and coming artist. That's why I was like "Who the heck is Irene Cara." I can't recall her.

was their night time line up mostly highly censored soft porn back then?, or was that mostly an early 90's thing? All my memories of USA are very random, low quality, last resort TV. Now it blends into the background, with law and order reruns, and the same crap as everybody else. USA always sucked, but it was a unique cable snowflake back then.
