The Mr. T segments definitely need their own video as much as the Johnny Arcade/Video Power segments also need their own from the past year.

I grew up on Parker Brothers board games. I had no idea they were also producing children's books at one point.

They started publishing books for The Care Bears and Strawberry Shortcake in 1983. These Rose Petal books were an extension of that.

Saturday mornings back than we’re great!!! All the Chanels had cartoons and it was hard to pick what to watch now a days they have nothing hardly for cartoons

Rose Petal Place books-look,it's Buffy before her vampire slaying days Mr T.-"..He thought he was gonna be a movie star,but,the joke..was really on HIM! Don't let that happen to you!" I'm sure the guy Mr T was talking about waited until they got out to Hollywood

So close, and yet . . . . so far. BTW, that's part of a Get Along Gang commercial. The actual TV show didn't premiere until September 15, 1984.

CBS and NBC pretty much dominated my viewing time on Saturday Mornings in the 80's. ABC was cool and all, but didn't have the amount of cool cartoons like the other two did IMO. I've said this before, but Muppet Babies (CBS) and Smurfs (NBC) are my all time favorites, but didn't like how they were shown at the same time having to flip back and fourth between channels.
