Because of you, I started to clean and start planning my studio design that I had been putting off for MONTHS; I redid my website and started working on a Sharepoint and app for my consignment business model, and now I’m planning to showcase at Atlanta Sustainable Fashion Week in October. I'm so excited for you. Although I don't know you have been watching you for years And Love your positivity and the way you were able to continue growing and take us with you along the way. Beautiful beautiful pieces. Congratulations

I'm an older, slightly overweight woman who decided to learn to sew in the last year or so. My problem with buying ready made or off the rack clothing is that for some reason, most clothing brands tend to make clothes in 2X, 3X and so on, look like old lady clothes and not made in any manner of flattering. I like my tops to be loose, fall below my bottom and tummy, and not be boxy, because lets be honest, the boxy cut can make you look even heavier. I'm a big thrift to recycle person. So, I've taken tops with that are flattering, but perhaps a little too small and added a coordinating or contrasting fabric & added it all the way up both sides starting at the sleeve and going to the hem. I've made several jeans/pants to maxi skirts and love them, but I wanted to take it further. With the new Grandma chic styles, I've been trying to put my own twist on it. Granted, I am 64, but I not only like to dress comfortably, but also a bit younger, less old lady style while looking a bit cool. Lol I've been wanting to make a jean pant maxi skirt into a jean/pant maxi skirt overall. The problem I'm having in drawing out my plans is in trying to incorporate that top portion and straps using another pair of thrifted jeans. I've tried seceral times but ended up ripping it out and being frustrated. But i refuse to give up. 😅
