I have Zero memory of mini trucks in the 80s. I do remember those low rider truck things in the 90s

I had a 1986 Suzuki samurai hardtop brick red color it was my first car that I ever bought for 1;000 and I really miss it and yes it was a manual stick

I was instantly taken back to the 80's. I forgot some of these clubs I remember driving around back then. Flojos , Ground Control, etc.

As an old low rider myself (2-64 Imapalas and 1-Buick Regal) here in San Diego...I continue to realize how similar our lives have been growing up here in So Cal...I remember my first car cruise was in the old K Mart huge parking lot...and the mini trucks and Suzuki's were so sick! Man I can't believe it! I was in Pure Energy minis in Vegas. I would love to have another mini but around here in Louisiana they don't take care of the trucks at all so most that you see aren't even worth fixing up.

I miss the mini-truck scene. I used to have a lowered white '86 Nissan Hardbody with a SnugTop and I was one of a few out here in Houston back in the day. I pretty kept it mostly stock but it was one of the first clean ones out here.

So awesome to see all the omd trucks from back in the day. I had 2 different Toyota mini trucks in the 80's and 90s. I was in a club in SanFernado Valley Nebula Miniz. Did you go to truck runs in the 90's? Just a blast from the past and makes me want to have my 1990 Toyota Xtra Cab back. Maybe one day I can find one to restore. Man, I really miss my old 85 Nissan king cab with the "ST" package. Ny rust saw to the demise of it. Was a damn good truck while I had it. Legit question, is it still considered a mini truck since instead of lowering it, I lifted it a bit, put 31x10.50 15s on it? Had a nice stance, cool factory roll bar etc. I did have a system in it as well. Man I loved that truck. Owner after me beat it like it owed him money and ran it into the ground. I later saw it at the pick n pull with a broken frame and more rust holes than horsepower

As a old minitrucker I always wanted to attend this get- together i actually had a friend there hes from CA I wanted to fly in for this but just couldn't make it happen there's a Samurai in my town its a old build been sitting since the 90s the owner won't let it go its kinda rough now
