400ft/lbs before 2000rpm. That's seriously a torque monster.

the thing I always loved about the 300-6's is they are the nearest sound to any diesel lol

I had an 84’ with a 300 straight six, 3 on the tree, manual steering and windows. Absolutely loved the truck. It’s what my dad put me in to learn how to drive. I guess he figured hell, if he can learn to drive 3 speed on the column with manual steering he should be able to handle anything 😂 Really miss the thing. The ol’ man taught me a lot under the hood of that old truck. Probably wouldn’t be spinning wrenches today if it weren’t for that old Ford....

UPDATE....Added intercooler and watermeth......5500rpm no problem. Just don't plan on doing that a lot with a stock motor, 4500 is all you really need anyway!

I love this truck! I have watched this video multiple times. I have a 94 6 cyl and have become obsessed with them since getting it 3 years ago. Indestructible engines and great trucks built around them. I like the turbo idea too

Cool Ryan, I love 300s. I use a hobbs pressure switch to break the spout connector on builds with tfi. Usually run 14* total around 20-24 psi. Stop by my channel when you get a chance, I have my 300 turbo build well documented on the FTE link there.
