Mike, thought you would want to know TTWT paid you a compliment referring to your expertise handling the tractor-bucket when spreading stone; the video was fairly recent from Tim. He mentioned Mike Morgan when Tim was operating his machine. Thanks again for the videos.

D Roy Having the right tool for the job makes most jobs easier. I’m still splitting my fire wood the old fashion way, with an ax, a pair of gloves, to prevent blisters, and muscles. I do have a good chain saw to cut the rounds. The human power that I provide, I look at as a much needed work out. I only split a couple cords a year for our fireplace at our home. We make our outside fires with what ever Mother Nature puts on the ground at our camp. All I need for those is the chain saw, the gloves, and one of my trailers.

Love my L6060. I feel the same about its size being perfect. I’ve also modified a number of things to make it just a little more comfortable like adding light bars at all four corners with a larger bar center front. The best option by far that I added was a larger left tide set of steps I found from another KZfaqr from Newfoundland. They are hand made and perfect for a larger older guy like myself. Not an advertisement but Specialty Repairs Custom Mods. I would highly recommend.

Michael Mac Tavish, a mini-excavator is next on my wish list. I’ve got several low areas across my land that have small amounts of water that runs when ever it rains but they are filled with garbage trees, I’d love to pull out all the low area trees and build a large pond for the deer on the back side of my property. More then anything, I just enjoy getting out on the property to unwind after work is done, much like yourself it seems. Cheers.

Those Detroit Diesel engines always leak. That's why when I worked as a mechanic, we referred to them as a "Drip-troit". They didn't really use many gaskets on them and relied on metal to metal connections to seal the mating surfaces which allowed oil to seep through.

Have you ever tried a York Rake with bogey wheels? I had one that I loved. The adjustable wheels allowed me to tilt the rake so I could set a crown in a road. The rake also swiveled up to 45 degs on either side so it pulled the rocks and sand off the sides of the road into the middle where I spread them out again.

Just a suggestion from an old, no, very old, cattle rancher. When using trailer, put your hand on the bottom of the steering wheel, for trailer to go left turn steering wheel, left, trailer right, turn steering wheel right. You have great videos. If Cecil B DeMile we’re alive, he would green with envy. Best to every one. Shingalo1 at BarX Ranch.

Amazing job stripping grass. I have a smaller B26 and use it for a living. It’s probably the most difficult task to do on a tractor as you can’t see your cutting edge like you can on a skidsteer/CTL. Key is like you did, take as little as possible and make another pass if needed. Once you gouge the ground you are SOL.

Mike, I have watched you use your land plane and I have a couple of observations. I too have a land plane and enjoy it very much.. Now for the BUT when you are pushing material with your tractor you are using the frame of the land plane. This action could wear it our or damage it. If you notice their are a set of holes on each cross member for adding a rear blade.. Land Pride has a grader blade kit for adding an additional blade. I did not add one on my land plane as I rarely push from the rear. This may be something for you to consider. Last thing, when you were grading your mothers road the front blade seems to be doing all the work. I try and level mine a little more, you may wish to increase you top link length. I truely enjoy your videos, keep up the great work and hopefully I am not coming across as too critical. Have a day.

If Mike likes the way it spreads without an extra blade on the back. You just wait until the paint wears off, find yourself a good welder, and lay down two or three beads of hard surface. Wa-La good to go for the life of the attachment.
