Sweet video. One suggestion for the soundbar, pull it forward so the drivers are on the edge of the cabinet. Currently, it will be comb filtering with the immediate reflections from the top of the cabinet. If pulled forward, the dialogue will likely sound clearer.

i have always used a 1/2" step up bit for metal studs and toggle bolts. Works great, and no need to pre-drill

I've got the 83C1 paired with Denon AVC-X4700H in a 5.1 System. It's phenomenal, gonna step up into 5.1.4. soon.

Great video. I have two of those soundbars. One connected to my 65" CX and the other connected to a 50" Samsung. I recommend getting a subwoofer, it takes the sound to another level. I paired mine with the Klipsch SPL-120.

It's funny how much smaller these TVs look on screen, but in person they look enormous. That 83" looks the same size as my 65" here, but I've seen an 83" in store and it's huge.

Hanging the tv onto the wall itself also make it look smaller if you think about it. Since the tv is usually closer to you if you have it on a stand.

Just picked up the AMBEO on sale. Paired with our SVS sub and a smaller LG C1, it's a pretty magical experience. Sounds better (for movies at least) than the DefTech 5.1 setup I have installed in the same room. Music is about on par.

dio you have problems with disney + making pops? how did you fix it.

@@reliev33 I do not. The only pops/static I've heard was during the calibration/setup sequence and occasionally when I've been changing inputs. But I plan to have the TV's eARC output as the AMBEO's only input, so switching inputs shouldn't be an issue. Really happy with it so far.

Got the set with the bose900 incl. 700 bass module and 700 surrounds on the jewel stand. Oh I struggled so hard with the decision between the Bose and the sennheisser. In the end convenience made it and beat sheer sound quality. But the set it awesome as well. And I switched from a teufel THX 5.1 system

Good luck with the Ambeo. I returned it last year. It does not work well for all rooms especially if you have odd shape room, soft ceiling, lots of windows or large room. It needs good surface to create the sound effects. The center dialogue is good but without the added sub, you're not going to feel the impact much. Also, if there aren't proper wall structures, it will not be able to do well in creating the rear sound effects because there are no rear speakers. You're better off going with the Sony HT-A9 with Sub. I know it's hard to get one now, but if you keep checking the web and act quickly you may get one. Sony seems to figure out a better way.

Great combo. Don’t see the Ambeo often; I would have gotten it instead of the Arc if it had a wireless sub connection. Instead of $5,000 I may have spent the extra $1,000 for the A90j 83”

Awesome "view into..." and system, fellas'! AR and Christy are huge on the Ambeo; how does it accommodate/throw side, rear and height surround objects to the couch or sitting area, however? Gave the Ambeo a lot of consideration before settling on SonosArc "5.1.2" (Arc, Sub 3, One SLs - 2). I can definitely state, with streaming as source, there are no Atmos or seriously differentiated height audio objects, lol, for my Sonos Arc "5.1.2" "HT"; all Atmos is not created equally. Still, very happy with it, overall.

B! I love this setup and your videos. I just picked up the C1 65 along with the ambeo. It sounds and looks INCREDBLE! I cannot get my magic remote to control the volume on my soundbar. I have earc plugged in from tv to soundbar and all devices directly to TV. Without my devices plugged in volume control works on remote but once I plug either my pc or PS4 the the tv volume control stops working. I called tech support and they could not figure it out. I'm stumped.

Hi from India, as LG capped C1's and G1's HDMIs at 40GBps, are they capped on hardware level or are they capped by software? If is it on software level then is there any possibility to get firmware update from LG to unlock them to full 48GBps bandwidth?

Hi, Little question about connections. Did you connect ps5, xbox with Hdmi 2.1 to tv and then connect tv to soundbar using hdmi 2.1 on the eArc channel? How does it work, you experience lag sound from ps5, Netflix apps,...? Thx for the info. Gratis video btw !

Does that SB have an EARC? Is it HDMI 2.1? Does the client know what they bought in regards to the consoles?

Ambeo recommends 5” of clearance between the bottom of the TV and the sound bar. I think it’s because the bar gets so hot.

That would be for the atmos speakers to get the sound out without getting caught behind the tv. This tv is back deeper in the recess so it wouldn't be an issue.

Hey there B. Quick question for you. I have the Sennheiser Ambeo and wanted to ask a question. Just got the Sony XR83A99J and wanted to mount the Ambeo to the moveable tv mount so the atmos works off the screen when it moves left and right. I have it wall mounted now, kind of like this solution here but do you know how I can mount it to the Sanus tv mount so it moves correctly? Thanks in advance for an answer.

Hey B I had a question what would you recommend the C1 or the A80j? My primary use is about 60% gaming and the rest movies/streaming shows. To me the A80j PQ seems better than the LG but the input lag seems lower on the C1 on paper. Now with the Sony having VRR and ALLM it makes the decision harder.

I am buying a TV and the choice is between C2 65" and G2 65". The price difference is €350. With the fact that Lg has a promotion where it gives 3 additional guarantees with the purchase of a new TV, Lg C2 2+3 years of guarantee and also a gift lg soundbar (according to the reviews, it is not the best, so I will most likely sell it immediately). I plan to put the TV on the wall. What is your recommendation to buy? It's for my living room. Is this price difference justified between c2 and g2? I would buy another wall mount for the reason that when I drill the holes for the wall mount, I have to do it once, later when I change the TV, so that I can always put another TV on that wall mount, which is an additional €100. Surely they would rather take the G2 than the C2?

I have a question,i have a Samsung HW-Q800A sound bar, it works flawlessly with my samsung tv but I'm planning to buy c1 and I'm just curious if samsung sound bar will work fine with lg c1 tv?any idea?

Lg typically works well with most devices. The only benefit of the Samsung is some newer Samsung tvs can be used in the sound system. But tv speakers added to a sound bar would not be something I would care about. My a90j barely holds up as center with the ht-a9

@@lubaniskie Only requires two small holes 🕳 to feed the cables. Not more than 2 inches, something that can easily be covered in less than 15mins when moving out. Also the entertainment center doesn’t work well for those consoles. Need open space or would have mounted the tv higher.

The XBOX is blocking the left speaker, so the surround channels can't work properly and won't be able to bounce sound off the wall.

I have a huge 77inch C1 and I can't image a 83inch. I'm happy with the size but video quality is disappointing to me. Maybe I was expecting the same video quality that I saw in store. I'm specifically speaking on 4k movies on Netflix because I know cable wouldn't be the same quality.

I got the 77 I didn't think it was worth and extra 3k for another 6 in I got mine around 2.2k but I love the tv Holy crap it's amazing.

I had the 77' and got the 83' especially with the price drop 4200 shipped to my door authorized reseller a few months ago . Its not a night and day difference size wise you wont get that wow factor coming from a 77' but life is short just get what you want..

For those of you shopping for an OLED the LG C2/G2 (2022 Models) will be out in April 2022. The C2 will get the EVO G1/G2 panel. There will be ridiculous deals on OLED 2021 models. Samsung is releasing a new tech QD-OLED panel in their Samsung OLEDs. Sony will use the Samsung QD-OLED panel in their 55/65 inch A80K/A90K OLEDs. You might have to wait until 2023 to get larger 77/83 inch QD-OLED TVs from Samsung and Sony. A very large 77 inch+ Sony might use an LG OLED vs. the QD-OLED panel in 2022. Patience Grasshopper. Not to knock on the Soundbar, Sennheiser is a great german brand, and I have beautiful Headsets from them, but for 2 Grands, I'll much rather stick to a dedicated 5.1 Set with two huge standing Frontspeakers, two Rears, Center and a massive Subwoofer, by reputable german speaker brands like Nubert or Teufel. That's just a) still way more immersive than even the best Soundbar and b) 20hz earth shaking Subwoofer experience which a Soundbar can't even remotely simulate. Sure those 30 hz are neat for a Bar, but it's children's play compared to a Nubert Set.

I don't get why a person would spend 2500$ on a device that cannot physically reproduce low frequencies, 4" woofers are just too small. Subwoofer should be mandatory for any soundbar >300$. Apple like users just buy the Sonos Beam because of the design, i got it, but it's 2000$ cheaper at least.

Hell, in 15 years I bet you could get one of these for free! 22'ish years ago I paid $1,800 for a Sony VVega 34" CRT TV. 15 years later I PAID someone to come and take it out of my house.
